Points are credited for flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Discover Airlines, Eurowings, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City, Luxair, SWISS and Star Alliance airlines. You earn Qualifying Points on flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Discover Airlines, Eurowings, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City, Luxair and SWISS. Points and Qualifying Points are credited for journeys with Austrian AIRail, Lufthansa Express Rail or SWISS Air Rail. A maximum number of Qualifying Points earned on train journeys is defined for achieving each status. The maximum thresholds are: 160 Qualifying Points for Frequent Traveller status and 500 Qualifying Points for Senator status. Depending on the airline, some flight numbers and booking classes may not qualify for earning Points and Qualifying Points. You can find further information on our airline partners’ offer pages .
HON Circle Points are credited for Business and First Class flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Discover Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City, Luxair and SWISS as well as for BIZclass flights operated by Eurowings. HON Circle Points are credited for journeys with Austrian AIRail, Lufthansa Express Rail or SWISS Air Rail, provided the journey is in Business Class. A maximum number of HON Circle Points is defined for achieving HON Circle status: 1,000 HON Circle Points. Depending on the airline, some flight numbers and booking classes may not qualify for earning HON Circle Points. You can find further information on our airline partners’ offer pages .
As a Frequent Traveller, Senator or HON Circle Member, you benefit from an Executive Bonus when earning miles. The bonus is 25% on flights with Discover Airlines, Eurowings, Luxair and other Miles & More airline partners, or 50% on flights with Air Canada, All Nippon Airways, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City, SWISS and United Airlines. Benefits when booking flights and upgrades
As a Senator, you’ll get two upgrade vouchers upon qualification or renewal. As a HON Circle Member, you’ll get four upgrade vouchers. These will be credited electronically. The eVouchers are valid for 24 months and can be used to upgrade to a higher travel class. You can redeem your eVouchers online, via the Miles & More Service Centre or at the airport. Please note that upgrades are not possible on certain booking classes in Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class, and that eVouchers can only be redeemed with restrictions and where available capacity is expected.
The waiting list priority for Frequent Travellers and Senators applies to all flights operated by Star Alliance airlines, but not to upgrades and award bookings. The waiting list priority for HON Circle Members applies to all flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City and SWISS, but not to upgrades and award bookings.

As a Senator or HON Circle Member, you can reserve a seat free of charge on flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City and SWISS in all booking classes (except for Economy Light on short-haul flights).
Benefits during travel
Frequent Travellers flying in Economy Class on a scheduled flight operated by a Star Alliance airline or on a SMART fare with Eurowings can enjoy their stay at the airport in one of the Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa or SWISS Business lounges, as well as the lounges of Brussels Airlines. Access to the LOT Business Lounge is available for Frequent Travellers on scheduled Economy Class flights operated by Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City or SWISS.
For access to the Senator Lounge, your Senator card is required plus a boarding pass valid for the date and place of departure on a flight operated by Austrian Airlines, Discover Airlines, Eurowings, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City, SWISS or code-share partners, or a Star Alliance partner. For access to Star Alliance partners’ Star Gold lounges, your Senator card is required and a boarding pass valid for the date and place of departure on a Star Alliance flight. You can bring one guest with you free of charge. You can also be accompanied by children under the age of 18 in Lufthansa lounges. For access to the Senator and Business lounges, the accompanying guest(s) must travel on the same flight, and enter and leave the lounge with the person who invited them.
Access with an HON Circle Member card and a boarding pass valid for the date and place of departure for a flight operated by Discover Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City or Star Alliance. In Vienna: access with an HON Circle Member card and a boarding pass valid for the date and place of departure for a scheduled flight booked via and operated by Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City, SWISS and LOT Polish Airlines. You collect Points, Qualifying Points and HON Circle Points on all flights operated by Eurowings. Points and Qualifying Points are earned in the BASIC, SMART and BIZclass fares. HON Circle Points are only credited for flights in the BIZclass fare and the number of Points, Qualifying Points and HON Circle Points collected depends on two criteria: the booked fare and whether it is a continental or intercontinental flight.

For example, if you fly from Germany to Barcelona, both the origin and destination are in Europe and the flight is counted as a continental flight. For example, on a flight from Germany to Dubai, the origin and destination are on different continents (Europe and Asia). The flight segment is then counted as an intercontinental flight. Please note: Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia are assigned to the European zone, so that flights from Germany to Tunisia, for example, are counted as continental flights.
Award flight bookings, tour operator bookings and ID Travel bookings are generally excluded from earning Miles and Points (Points, Qualifying Points and HON Circle Points). You will find the booking class on your booking confirmation. If you forgot to enter your Miles & More service card number when booking, your Miles and Points may be credited up to 6 months after your flight .

Eurowings also offers discounted 'Fly Smart' award flights in the SMART and BIZclass fares . Fly Smart flight awards can be purchased as regular flight awards for fewer miles, are only available online and are subject to specific conditions:
The booking date must be between two weeks and two days before the desired departure date.
For flight awards on intercontinental destinations, the minimum stay is seven days.
The following applies to flight awards within the zones of Germany and Europe and for flight awards within any other region: earliest possible return flight is the Sunday after departure.
Outbound and return flight must be booked in the same fare (e.g. SMART-SMART).
