3. Noisy Cabins on Arcadia. Like on any cruise ship, there are certain cabins on Arcadia where you may be able to hear noises or feel the ship's vibrations at certain times of the day. Cabins below the gym. A1 to A8. These cabins are directly below the gym, so you may be able to hear people using the treadmills or dropping heavy weights.

I am thinking of booking one of the obstructed ocean view rooms behind the lifeboats on Arcadia. Does anyone have experience of these rooms, and any pictures at all? I wonder how much light is let in, and just how obstructed they are? I understand it does depend if the room is directly behind or in between a lifeboat that will make a difference.

The ship had no spa cabins so the thermal area was rarely ever crowded and often we had it to ourselves. (Some ships have spa cabins that come with use of the thermal suite.) Originally destined for Holland America, the Arcadia has the same hydro pool and ceramic chairs as Holland America's directionally named ships (Westerdam, Noordam, etc.)
