Heart and Cheap Trick Launch Royal Flush Tour: Set Lists and Videos

Heart kicked off their Royal Flush tour on Saturday at Greenville, South Carolina's Bon Secours Wellness Arena with support from Cheap Trick .

You can see both set lists and videos from both performances below.

In addition to classics like "Magic Man," "Straight On" and "Barracuda," Heart also performed a few of Nancy and Ann Wilson 's respective solo songs, plus covers of Led Zeppelin and David Bowie .

The Royal Flush tour marks Heart's first extended trek since 2019 and will keep them on the road, primarily in North America, through late September. The rockers will also head to Europe in June and July with Squeeze opening select dates, and they'll support Def Leppard and Journey on a handful of stadium dates  in July and August.

Is Heart Working on a New Album?

It's been a turbulent decade for Heart, who haven't released a studio album since 2016's Beautiful Broken . Ann and Nancy Wilson put the band on hold that year after Ann's husband was  arrested  for allegedly hitting one of Nancy's children during their 2016 tour.

The sisters mended fences and embarked on the Love Alive tour in 2019, followed by another extended break during which they both released solo albums. However, Nancy Wilson said last June that Heart was working on new material that is "closer to what you would have heard us originally do in the '70s, late '70s. So it's really fun, it's just exciting and inspiring."

Heart Extends Massive 2024 Reunion Tour with Shows in Nashville, L.A., N.Y.C. and More — See the Dates!

The rock legends will be setting out on tour along with Cheap Trick, BTO featuring Randy Bachman and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening

After a five year hiatus, allow Heart to go "Crazy on You" with their thrilling live show and long-awaited return to the stage!

The rockers previously announced they were setting out on a massive tour in 2024 — marking their reunion and first run of live shows since 2019 — and, on Tuesday, Heart revealed they're expanding the dates. The group helmed by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson will now continue their run, titled the Royal Flush Tour, across North America through the end of the year, along with an A-list slate of special guests.

While the "Barracuda" group's shows this year were originally set to kick off in late April and wrap up by September, they'll now be out on the road through the fall until mid-December.

Heart's 2024 tour kicks off on April 20 in Greenville, South Carolina, continues in the U.S. through May, before heading to Europe for a handful of dates in June and July. On July 30, they'll resume their North American leg in Columbus, Ohio, and then play through the rest of the summer and into the fall.

The newly announced dates begin on Sept. 26 in San Francisco and last until Dec. 15 in Las Vegas. Fans will be able to catch the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees at stadiums in major cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Nashville, New York City, Vancouver, San Diego and many others.

Throughout the Royal Flush Tour, the "Magic Man" band will be joined by fellow rock legends Cheap Trick, and select shows will also include support from BTO featuring Randy Bachman and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening, the project from the son of the English rock group's original drummer.

The Wilson sisters shared a statement in press release about the upcoming concerts.

"We’re so excited to announce more tour dates," Ann, 73, said. “The exceptional talent of the band — Ryan, Ryan, Paul, Tony and Sean — brings a whole new level of energy to Heart’s live performance."

Nancy, 70, added, "I am incredibly proud of the show that we have crafted and am looking forward to reconnecting with even more fans. We can’t wait to share our music with everyone and celebrate the big electric energy of a completely live on the spot rock show."

The Royal Flush Tour comes after the rock favorites celebrated their 50th anniversary last year.

It also marks their first time out on the road together since 2019, when the "Alone" group set out on their Love Alive Tour. At the time, the shows saw the Wilsons coming back together after the two experience a brief rift. (In 2016, Ann's husband,  Dean Wetter, assaulted Nancy's then-16-year-old sons  after they reportedly left a tour bus door open, which he pleaded guilty to two non-felony assault charges.)

Both Ann and Nancy also recently took time to record their own solo efforts: Ann with Fierce Bliss in 2022 and Nancy with You and Me in 2021.

The two hitmakers have both explained to PEOPLE in interviews that taking time apart only makes their work together in Heart stronger.

"[Taking time apart] allows us to bring stuff back to Heart that we didn't have before," Ann said in a 2022 interview . "We love each other. She and I really look forward to smooth sailing."

Meanwhile, Nancy shared in a 2021 conversation that it was "so amazing" to get back out on the road together on their 2019 tour. "I could see that the Heart fans really loved the big spectacle aspects of the show — even if Ann didn't love the bubble machine I had requested," she said. "But most of all we saw how much the Heart fans loved the Heart sisters reunited."

While the previously announced concerts are already on sale , tickets for the fall dates go on sale later this week. Ticket sales kick off with a presale for Citi cardmembers, which lasts from now until Thursday at 10 p.m. local time. The general on-sale will then follow on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

Ann Wilson announces cancer diagnosis, postpones Heart tour

L OS ANGELES (AP) — Ann Wilson , lead singer of rock band Heart, says she has cancer and the band is postponing the remaining shows on its Royal Flush Tour while she undergoes treatment.

Wilson said in a statement Tuesday that she underwent a surgery to remove a cancerous growth and is recovering steadily, but that her doctors urged her to undergo preventive chemotherapy and take time off from performing “in order to fully recover.” That meant the rest of the shows on the North American tour will be postponed to dates in 2025.

“To the ticket buyers, I really do wish we could do these gigs. Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025,” Wilson said in the statement. “My team is getting those details sorted & we’ll let you know the plan as soon as we can.”

All previously purchased tickets for the now-postponed shows will be honored. The rescheduled dates will be announced in the coming weeks, according to the release.

“This is merely a pause. I’ve much more to sing,” Wilson continued in the statement before adding, “Respectfully, this is the last public statement l’d like to make on the matter.”

Over 50 shows at stadium and arena venues in dozens of cities across the U.S. and Canada are impacted by the postponement. Select shows were set to include performances from Def Leppard and Journey, and Heart has not announced whether those bands will accompany them at the rescheduled performances.

The band, led by Wilson and her sister Nancy Wilson on the guitar, canceled the European leg of their tour in May, citing that the singer had to have "a time-sensitive but routine procedure for which the minimum recovery time is six weeks.”

Wilson posted on Instagram at the time of the European shows' cancellation, writing, “I’m okay! Please don’t worry. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It’s certainly an inconvenience for me.”

The Wilson sisters, who made hits like “Magic Man,” “Crazy on You” and “Alone,” have made music together since the ’70s. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers were honored with a lifetime achievement award from the Recording Academy in 2023.

Heart have been forced to postpone all of their upcoming tour dates in 2024 after Ann Wilson recently underwent a medical procedure to remove “something that, as it turns out, was cancerous.”

“The operation was successful & I’m feeling great but my doctors are now advising me to undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy & I’ve decided to do it,” Wilson explained in a statement. “And so my doctors are instructing me to take the rest of the year away from the stage in order to fully recover.”

Travis Kelce reveals his biggest fear during his Taylor Swift Eras Tour appearance

    powerful hearts tour

Travis Kelce is telling all about his surprise Eras Tour cameo.

On Wednesday's episode of his "New Heights" podcast , the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told the story behind him joining girlfriend Taylor Swift on stage during an Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium in London.

Kelce, 34, revealed the June 23 appearance was his idea — and shared his biggest fear about it.

"The one thing I told myself is, 'Do not drop the baby,'" he said. "Do not drop Taylor on your way over this damn couch. The golden rule was, do not drop Taylor. Get her to the couch safely.'"

He added that his "No. 1 goal" was to not mess the show up and noted that in the end, "I didn't disappoint Taylor, so that's all that really matters."

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

Kelce came on stage during Swift's " Tortured Poets Department " set for a section where she has to be revived to sing " I Can Do It With a Broken Heart ," a song about continuing to perform amid heartbreak. Donning a tuxedo and top hat, Kelce acted out the role of someone trying to get Swift to continue the show and at one point picked her up and carried her onto a couch.

Speaking on "New Heights," the NFL star recalled suggesting an Eras Tour appearance to Swift, though he had a different concept in mind at first.

Travis Kelce joins Taylor Swift onstage during surprise Eras Tour appearance in London: Watch

"I initially mentioned it to Tay," he said. "I was like, 'How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the "1989" era?' She started laughing. She was like, 'Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?' And I was just like, 'Are you, what? I would love to do that. Are you kidding me?'"

Swift then "found the perfect part of the show" for him to take part in, Kelce said, joking this was the "safest option" to avoid the risk of him running into one of the dancers on a bike. Plus, he noted he has "seen the show enough" that he knows all the choreography, so Swift "might as well put me to work here."

Kelce also recalled feeling "tiny" on the stage, which was "way bigger than I could have ever imagined."

But he said it was an "absolute blast" and an "honor" to be part of the concert and revealed his onstage tap dancing was inspired by Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber."

Travis Kelce reveals how he started to 'really fall' for 'very self-aware' Taylor Swift

The Wembley Stadium show was Kelce's first time joining his girlfriend on the stage during the Eras Tour, though he has attended the concert many times since they started dating last year. Kelce recently opened up about the relationship on the " Bussin' with the Boys " podcast and said he is "not here to hide anything" because "that's my girl, that's my lady," and "I'm proud of that."

He also revealed he "started to really fall for" Swift when he saw "how genuine she is around friends (and) family," adding, "It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention and she just keeps it so chill and so cool and I can admire it for sure."
