Great service every time

I've used Deb Harding to book our last 4 trips. All very different from Rioja to Galway and each one Deb has worked on for us has been perfect. The whole process takes out the stuff I hate the dreaded flight booking and any subsequent changes the airlines then inflict on you, parking and whittling down hotels. Deb knows what we like now and is able to provide us with a great short list of places to stay. During our last trip our flight was cancelled 30 minutes before boarding, which was of course disappointing but Deb was on it for us even before I got in touch with her. She arranged our return flights and extended our parking all whilst we were waiting to be transferred to a hotel for the night. Really superb service and stress free for us! Can't recommendation Deb highly enough.

Everything went like clockwork!

Our usual holiday is a city break in Europe so we wanted some help in organising our trip to Vietnam. Jo Merredew was recommended to us and we have no regrets at all about booking through her and Travel Counsellors. Jo worked with us and their partners in Vietnam (Wide Eyed Tours) to develop our perfect itinerary which was then executed like clockwork. It was hugely reassuring to have all of our plans in place and to have a local contact (Huong Nguyen) available even if we didn't need her help. The accomodation, excursions and transfers were all excellent. Fully recommended!

Travel Counsellors - Emma Collier

Emma Collier was amazing with us from start to finish! She spent so much time sending us ideas and then adapting them to out needs, and no matter how silly my questions were she answered all of them without judgement!! It was our first holiday abroad as a family so we wanted it to be special and Emma gave us exactly that! Would never book with anyone else now.

Honeymoon of a Lifetime

We have just returned from what can only be described as a honeymoon of a lifetime and it’s all thanks to Kat Malyshenko. From the first call we had with Kat we knew we would be in the best hands. She listened to our thoughts, locations that we wanted to explore and gave such good suggestions. She provided us with a quote within 24 hours and had hit the nail on the head first time! Kat was always on hand to answer any questions that we had, and she kept in contact throughout the whole process. She really is on hand 24/7! Thank you so much Kat for all you’ve done, and we can’t wait to get the next holiday booked with you!

Amazing holiday to Malaysia thanks to Vanessa

Vanessa Couper organised an amazing holiday to Malaysia for us! We had a great time in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi in excellent hotels for a fair last minute price. The whole trip inclusive of connecting flights and airport transfers all went very smoothly thanks to Vanessa's knowledge and organisation. We only had to show up and go!! An unforgettable trip :)

Gill and Angela made all of the arrangements for our perfect holiday at Kantouni Beach in Kalymnos. 5 star from start to end. Gill offered the most amazing quality of holidays to choose from and each one looking amazing. Angela provided all of the documentation needed and even checked us in!! Holiday of a life time

We used Sally De Jong from travel counsellors to organise our trip of a lifetime to Canada . We travelled to Banff then Rocky mountaineer then on to an Alaskan cruise and finally time in Vancouver . Everything went smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about anything thanks to Sally’s help and organisation. Nothing was too much trouble,if we asked a question she answered it quickly. We would certainly use Sally again and have told our friends about her

Holiday review 2024

We recently used Karen Thornton from Travel Counsellors to book our first family holiday to the Adalya Elite Lara resort in Turkey. Having not been abroad since 2016, we wanted help with selecting the right package and support throughout the trip, which is exactly what we found in Karen. The holiday arrangements were first class - from convenient flights and transfers to an excellent hotel, as well as help with any queries along the way. We will definitely be using Karen to book our next trip - thank you!

I had a fantastic trip to visit family…

I had a fantastic trip to visit family in and then on to a group trip to Costa Rica for 2 weeks. Gemma Pauley checked what I wanted from the holiday and met all my needs by finding the right tour that met all my needs. I would very much like to thank Michelle for all her efforts helping us to find the perfect honeymoon. The idea of holiday hunting in the midst of wedding preparation was extremely daunting but Michelle took all the stress out of it. She spent lots of time researching and listening to our wish list. I used Tracey Blackman for my holiday to bali this year and I cannot recommend or thank her enough! I was nervous on planning such a big holiday and all thanks to Tracey it was stress free and enjoyable right from the start. We have the most amazing time and done so much all because Tracey helped me with customising my holiday to what we love to do. Any questions I had she always answered and helped me out, she is so patient and is incredible at her job. She gave me and my partner a holiday of a lifetime and I will 100% be using Tracey again!

Holidays made personal

Having booked holidays with Mandy Oldknow for many years, she is always my go to when it comes to my annual travel plans. As a business owner and busy mum myself, I don’t have a lot of time to search through hundreds of hotels and find the most suitable flights so I simply get in touch with Mandy who is always happy to help. Earlier this year she booked a four day break to Athens to celebrate my birthday. Mandy arranged the hotel, flights and all our excursions. I love a hop on hop off bus, so she was able to sort that out aswell as giving suggestions for sights to see and places to eat. The thing I love most about having a travel counsellor is knowing that if anything goes wrong, like a flight delay or change of hotel, that Mandy is already on it and it’s one less thing for me to worry about. Mandy also makes our trips extra special, on my birthday she’s arranged for a cake to be in my room and when we travelled to Lapland a few years ago she brought my daughter a little bag full of Christmas goodies which made the whole trip even more memorable. Life is busy and knowing that Mandy can take care of all the details is amazing. She hand delivers my tickets, and even writes out the luggage labels. The only thing she doesn’t do, is the washing when I get home. Which is a shame but she always gets in touch on my return home to make sure that everyone enjoyed themselves. Don’t get me wrong I like to book my own holidays to, but with Mandy I know it’s personal and she has so much experience at her finger tips. If she doesn’t know something about a place I want you to travel to then I know, that she will know someone who does. Any one can book a cheap holiday on the internet ( she can do that for you too), but what Mandy excels at is booking more bespoke holidays and taking the time to get to know you and what it is that you want to get out of your travel experiences.

I highly recommend using the Travel Counsellors. We were very fortunate to have Kayleigh Adair recommended to us and the service she has provided for us has been outstanding from our first contact. Kayleigh has been beyond patient with me as I have a hard time making decisions and kayleigh has answered all of my many questions. Kayleigh has went above and beyond in helping with the smooth booking of our cruise holiday due to start on the 28th June. I have never experienced such excellent service with any other travel agent I have used before. I will be using Kayleigh and Travel Counsellors with any future holidays and will be recommending them to my family and friends.

Casualties of bad weather

My family and I were casualties of the stormy weather over Europe last Friday when our flight was cancelled half an hour before gate closure. Whilst there was no sign of anyone able to offer assistance in the airport from the airline our Travel Counsellor Jo Grogan was on immediate hand to provide support and take us through next steps. Never have I been more grateful of Jo’s never ending support for our family holidays. Whilst we were unable to get away this weekend Jo is working tirelessly to reschedule for us. Thank you again Jo! You are our shining star .

Personalised travel support

From the moment I asked Claire to help with my trip she used her extensive network of contacts to think through and book all aspects of the trip. She was able to put together an agenda packed with the experiences I wanted and ensured it all fitted together. During the trip she was always checking things were happening as planned. When flights were cancelled she went the extra mile to ensure that I did not get stranded and she made alternate arrangements.

Just the perfect holiday !

Michelle Hyland arranged the perfect trip for us to Bangkok and then Koh Samui at a very reasonable price. Everything was taken care of and attention to detail was excellent. Incredible holiday - superb organisation

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday to South Africa, Dubai (plus a day trip to Lesotho). 22 days, 5 flights and transfers, 7 hotels all superbly organised by Michelle Wilson. Also had excursions within South Africa including an awesome safari! Truly breath-taking. Would never think of using anyone else for such a detailed holiday. She's also fab at organising package holidays too. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Over the Moon

Over the moon with how Zoe Palmer created the perfect honeymoon booking for us. The personal experience made the whole process so easy and exciting. Zoe took our ideas and brought them to life not only with destination but the hotel offering and what and where was better than others and why. If you are looking to do this as a gift list for your wedding you can do a gift registry as well. Super excited for our honeymoon and what other holiday memories we get to book and experience. Curate's Egg...nothing wrong with the travel side

Let me be clear...I have no issue with the service provided by the travel counsellor that I have worked with for over 12 years. Tracey Boverhoff has always been very responsive and efficient and I have enjoyed many successful holidays organised and paid through her. My beef is with the referral she provided to the Travel Counsellors travel insurance company (Rock, with the policy supplied by AXA). Unfortunately, my partner's mother died unexpectedly while we were in America earlier this year and we had to spend £3000 to come home early. Despite filling in all the forms correctly and supplying countless receipts as requested, we are still awaiting reimbursement some 8 weeks later. Just not good enough.

Absolutely fabulous at her job

Absolutely fabulous at what she does. We give her a budget and dates we can travel and every time she comes up trumps. Nothing is too much trouble, she even sends you hard copies of boarding passes etc incase needed. Attention to detail is key and holidays are expensive and limited so you want the best you can get! And Tracy delivers every time . Highly recommend she is brilliant ❤️

Superb experience. Nick Webster is thoroughly recommended!

I was recommended the services of Nick Webster via a mutual friend for our honeymoon to the Maldives and Dubai. Nick was absolutely superb right from our initial conversation. Nick was able to turn our rough idea into a fantastic honeymoon by offering thoughts and suggestions to enhance our experience. For example, in the Maldives, we split our accommodation type to spend five nights in a beach villa and a further five nights in a water villa so that we could experience both. Using Travel Counsellors was such a seamless experience. The myTC App is easy to use, and we liked the fact that we could pay at times that suited us. Right from the beginning, Nick's attention to detail and going above our expectations made the whole honeymoon such an enjoyable experience as we did not have to worry about a single thing. Nick booked transfers, checked us into our flights and regularly checked in whilst we were away to make sure everything was going well. I could honestly not recommended Nick more and Nick will be our first point of contact for our next trip.

We trusted Tracy Horsfield with our honeymoon as we didn't know where to start in looking for safari, we're glad we did as the itinerary and games reserves were fantastic, the lodges beyond what we could have hoped for! Stress free holidays

We have just come back from a wonderful holiday in Dubrovnik. Our travelcounsellor Jo Kemp, found us a fantastic hotel and flights. She checked us in at the airport both there and back, making it stress free. We know that she is there 24/7 to answer any questions or to sort out any problems. Every holiday booked has been amazing and we cant praise her enough.

Someone else taking the strain

Having Claire Jackson take some of the strain. We were booking a slightly unusual holiday and needed help with the transfer from the airport to our accommodation. It was so good to have someone reliably arrange this for us. And to do things like the online check in, so I didn't have to spend the last day of my holiday working out our departure.

A big thank you to Mimi for her help on my recent trip to Poland. She arranged my hotel, airport transfers and a luxury coach to transport 24 people from their hotel to dinner. Everything was absolutely perfect and I would recommend Mimi to anyone who is travelling for business or pleasure. First family holiday - Mandy Robson

This was our first family holiday abroad and not knowing where to start we were recommended to contact Mandy and we are so glad we did. After a brief chat about our thoughts Mandy very quickly sent us a great selection of holidays that suited our needs. After selecting the holiday we thought was best Mandy literally took care of absolutely everything even checking us onto the plane! After confirming the booking Mandy was on hand to answer any queries we had (there was a couple) and she even amended our booking without a fuss due to a change in our circumstances. The holiday was absolutely amazing and we all had the best time and we cannot thank Mandy enough for all the work she put in to make our holiday the best it could be.
