How would you describe a Silver Bullet speedboat ride?

Our 90 min trips are best described as part scenic, part amusement, FUN for all ages. We offer 4 Tours daily which all are different in nature. All Tours are fast and some are a little more WET then others. During your trip, your fun and knowledgeable boat Captain and crew will slow things down to inform you on geological and historical points of interest, point out indigenous wildlife and provide extraordinary photo opportunities with our Atlantic Bottlenose Finned Friends. But hold on to your hats because he'll be back on the throttle again! The 9am Early Bird, 11:30am and 2pm tours include the Wildwoods Famous FLUME. The BULLET is a WET ride and you may experience anything from a light saltwater spray to a shirt-wringing, towel buying SPLASH. It’s a good idea to wear casual clothing and footwear that can get wet. Ponchos are also available for purchase aboard.

For those Folks looking to stay DRY-ish or with young children, our 4:30 Happy Hour Tour is for you. This 4:30 tour is informative and exhilarating; suitable for the entire family. Be prepared to take in the majestic scenery, learn a little about the wild and scenic Jersey Cape all while looking for Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins and enjoying our Discounted drink specials.

How far in advance do I need to purchase tickets?

As soon as you have a firm date in mind. We generally sell out in July/August and Holiday weekends days ahead of time. It is best to call and book the maximum number of seats you need as soon as you have a date in mind. Try to make it in the beginning of your week or weekend stay. This way if weather related rescheduling is necessary we can accommodate you. We are usually sold out days in advance.

What is Silver Bullet's cancellation policy?

Reservations require a 24 hour notice of cancellation. There are zero refunds for those who cancel within 24 hours of trips or do not show up. Group/Party reservations require 7 days notice and are subject to different policies.

How do I purchase tickets?

Call us at 1-609-522-6060 or go on-line EastCoastWaterSportsNJ.com to locate available trips and place your reservation. When calling, please be ready with your contact information, number of adults, number of children along with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover card.

What forms of payment are accepted?

CASH, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are gladly accepted. Payment due at time of purchase.

How does seating work?

New for the 2022 season! We will be launching preferred seating for those seats you line up an hour early to reserve! Want to sit in the very front of boat or in the last row? You will be able to purchase those specific seats.

How early should we arrive to check-in?

We ask that all passengers check in at least 20 minutes prior to a trip. Large parties should arrive 45 minutes prior to trip. This allows you time to check and fill out required paperwork. Waivers must be filled out by each adult prior to departure. These can be done through your confirmation email or at the dock. If you choose not to fill out prior to arrival, please be aware that the waiver kiosk can be backed up as the boat holds 138 passengers, so the earlier you arrive the better. The boat will depart at scheduled time and cannot wait for those who did not anticipate the time to check in. There are NO REFUNDS if you miss the boat!

When is the Silver Bullet’s season?

We offer excursions Mid-May to Mid- September. Gift cards and Gear can be bought all year round.

How long is each trip?

Approximately 90min excursions. Trips depart four times a day July and August. Check website for excursion times, May, June and September. **Please call for pre and post season availability.**

Will I get WET?

Yes, you will get wet (excludes the 4:30pm tour). These tours may not be suitable for young guests due to the force and the amount of water during the FLUME portion of the trip. However our 4:30 tour is our DRY-ish tour. This tour is appropriate for those who do not wish to get quite as wet and we welcome our younger guests to join us then. You may still get wet! You are on a boat. (This tour is only offered during our peak season. WE reserve the right to cancel this tour at any time.)

Are there any age restrictions for children?

YES; there are age restrictions and while we do not want to discourage you from bringing the youngsters, the following tips are provided as a guideline:

  • Parents know their children best but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office. There are plenty of moms and dads here with personal experience to help you determine what will work for your little one.
  • Our boats are FAST and LOUD. It is recommended that your child is at least 3 to board the vessel. You also get extremely wet on the first three trips of the day, smaller children may like the 430 trip the best.
  • Children are considered 13 yrs old and younger. Child ticket rate is 3-13 yrs old ONLY. INFANTS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE BOAT!
  • Anyone under 18 must have parent or guardian fill out liability waivers. Any child under 14 yrs old must be accompanied by a paying adult on the boat.

Who can take part in the trip?

The speed boat ride, by its very nature, creates forces that may not be acceptable to some persons. Participants of this excursion will be exposed to outdoor elements, forces from the FLUME, speeds and other intense features that may cause distress or injury to persons with pre-existing health conditions. Please consider these features in determining suitability for all passengers. Only guests in good health should participate in this excursion. For your safety do not ride if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, motion sickness, heart, neck or back problems, recent surgery or any other medical condition that might be aggravated by the forces of this ride.

All guests, including those with disabilities or use a wheelchair must be able to transfer into and out of the boat by themselves or with the assistance of ONE member of their party.

Seating in the boat is first come, first serve and cannot be reserved unless you purchase reserved seating section; those seats can specifically be chosen. People with young children may not sit in the first few rows and side seats of the boat.

Can I ride if I'm pregnant?

Can we bring a service dog or therapy dog on the boat.

For the safety of all passengers, ALL animals, including service animals for physically impaired individuals, are prohibited. Please be advised that the boat Captain will perform power thrill maneuvers and large volume(s) of water aboard the vessel during the tour. Pet carriers are also not permitted as a safety measure. If you have additional questions please contact [email protected]

Are life jackets required?

No. The boats are however equipped with the appropriate number of adult and child emergency life vests located under the seats of the vessel.

What should we bring on the trip?

What to wear: During May and September, when the weather is cooler, we suggest you dress warmly or in layers. It is always cooler in the morning. During the warmer months, June, July, and August the typical attire is shorts, t-shirts, sandals, and flip flops. Bring along, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Be prepared to get wet and dress according to your comfort level. We suggest wearing clothes that dry quickly and perhaps steer away from denim pants or shorts and leather footwear. If you have an extended car ride planned after a trip, consider bringing an extra set of clothes - just in case - to ensure a comfortable trip to your next destination.

Accessories: Sunglasses: Sunglasses: Every year, hundreds of riders involuntarily sacrifice their sunglasses to the Atlantic Ocean . Wear eye wear retainers, especially on your prescriptions or newly acquired designer shades.

Hats: Don't leave home without one, but also don't leave it in the Rogue Atlantic. Hat retainers work....usually.

Identification, cash and credit card: ID is needed to purchase any alcoholic beverages on board. Cash or Credit cards are excepted on board for snacks and other souvenirs. Please leave pocketbooks, backpacks, and beach bags secured in your vehicle.

Electronic Devices: Many people bring cameras and cell phones, however, due to the nature of our trips, large amounts of water are possible. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for damage to any electronic equipment including cell phone and other water sensitive items such as hearing aids and electronic ignition keys. All items are brought onboard at your own risk.

Food, Beverage and other: Smoking is prohibited on the vessel, on. Glass containers, coolers/ice chests are also prohibited. The crew has everything you need onboard.

Cell phones and camera equipment: Leave it behind if you can. (We suggest securing the following items in the trunk of your locked vehicle.) If you would like to bring it to take pictures, East Coast is not responsible for lost or damaged equipment.

Around the World in Analogue: Life in the Green City, Zelenograd

Back in 1958, Zelenograd was a new town formed and planned by the Soviet Union, specialized to become the central hub of electronics, microelectronics and the computer industry, and it has become as such to this very day for Russia. Dubbed as the "Green City" in reference to the city's color and the symbolic animal, the squirrel, Zelenograd offers much more as it provides wide, open spaces where modernity and nature meet. Through the photographs of Lomographer Igor Silaev a.k.a. mahoney66 , we see a gorgeous glimpse of his life in the okrug in harmonious colors.

jersey speed boat trips

I think 2020 was very hard for everyone. There are various restrictions in the country. Due to some restrictions, I even had to change jobs. But it was only good because I had more free time. Thanks to this, I returned to photography!

I live in Zelenograd (Autonomous district of Moscow). Unlike the center of Moscow, it is more calm and measured, and there are a lot of trees in our city (Zelenograd literally translates as green city ). Thanks to this, you can feel a certain connection with nature here, as if you are in the village. But at the same time, some areas look like a metropolis. There is also a very unusual architecture in the style of post-Soviet modernism, it is very inspiring. That's probably why I love this city.

jersey speed boat trips

First of all, I love my view from the window, because there are unreal sunsets. There are also many parks and alleys in the city, and in my opinion, they are much more picturesque than parks in the center of Moscow and not so mainstream. I would recommend Victory Park (not to be confused with the Park of the same name in Moscow) and the arboretum. From the Central parks, I would recommend VDNH, there is something to see and shoot.

Next to my house there is a Tanuki restaurant, where they prepare delicious Asian food. And from the bars I would recommend Hops & Coffee, it is located next to the train station. There are many varieties of author's beer and damn fine coffee!... and hot! If we talk about the center, then be sure to visit the cafe PEOPLE as PEOPLE -- this is a pleasant place where you can eat delicious and inexpensive food.

jersey speed boat trips

I Advise you to come to Moscow in the middle of summer, at this time there are the most comfortable weather conditions and you can walk all day long. Visit as many attractions and parks as possible, take a ride in the Moscow metro and take as much film with you as possible because here it is much more expensive! If you still need a film, then I recommend Perspektivalab . They have a good selection of films and the price is reasonable.

I like to think about the first time I went to Sokolniki Park with my girlfriend. That day, I was terribly stung by my new sneakers, but even that didn't spoil this beautiful day. We walked all day and took a lot of pictures. If you are in Moscow, be sure to go to Sokolniki Park!
