Blink-182 ’s reunion is still going strong.

On Monday, the pop-punk icons announced they’re going on a massive 2024 North American tour. The band featuring Mark Hoppus , Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker will play stadiums and arenas in support of their new album One More Time , which arrived on Friday and is the band’s first release with their iconic lineup since 2011.

The One More Time Tour features 30 dates across the U.S. and Canada in summer 2024. The alternative rockers will kick off their shows in Orlando on June 20 and perform in major cities and venues such as Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, New York City’s Citi Field, Boston’s Fenway Park, among others, before wrapping up in Toronto on Aug. 15. In their hometown of San Diego, the trio will take the stage at Petco Park stadium.

The “All the Small Things” group has recruited fellow ‘00s pop-punk hitmakers Pierce the Veil as their special guest on the road. On select dates, they'll also be joined by post-hardcore group Alexisonfire .

Blink-182’s newly announced tour will be their first time taking One More Time on the road across North America. The new record came just over one year after the band announced they were getting back together with the core trio for the first time since vocalist/guitarist DeLonge, 47, exited the group in 2015 and was replaced by Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba for a period.

In 2022, the “I Miss You” outfit officially launched their reunion with the release of the lead single off their ninth studio album, “ Edging ,” and this year they returned to the stage with a headlining set at Coachella , followed by a world tour and other festival appearances.

Their 2024 North American concerts will follow their international dates in New Zealand, Australia and Latin America early next year.

Tickets for the One More Time Tour go on sale beginning Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. local time on blink182.com .

Pierce The Veil, a fellow rock band native to San Diego, will join the North American leg as a special guest.

The tour announcement ties a bow on an exciting year for the “All The Small Things” musicians, who announced in October last year that DeLonge would be reinstated as part of the band. The singer/guitarist had previously left the group twice, once in 2005 and again in 2014. Their new album One More Time… marked the first time Blink’s classic lineup had been in the studio together in a decade and features 17 Barker-produced tracks, including Alternative Airplay No. 1 s “Edging” and “One More Time.”

Blink-182 is an American pop punk rock band from San Diego, California in 1992. The group has consisted of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, Travis Barker and Scott Raynor. The group has sold over 35 million albums worldwide.

Blink-182 came to prominence in the early 90s punk scene in California where their energetic shows made them a hit with crowds. The group was signed to independent label Cargo Records where they released their debut album “Cheshire Cat”. While the album was not commercially successful, it picked up a lot of buzz and is considered an iconic pop punk album of the time.

The buzz generated by this first album caused a bidding war between multiple mainstream labels and the band eventually signed with MCA. Drummer Scott Raynor’s disagreement with this decision contributed to his drifting from the band and he was eventually fired in 1998 and replaced by Travis Barker.

With the new record label and new line up settled, Blink-182 released “Enema of the State” in 1999 and quickly rose to fame with singles “Adam’s Song”, “All the Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again?” all receiving regular airtime on MTV. The album was the band’s most successful release to date and went to number 9 on the US Billboard chart.

The stress of constant touring and promotion as well as differences about where the band should go with their next album boiled to a head and caused the band to go on an indefinite hiatus in 2005. After Travis Barker was involved in a serious plane crash, the group reunited in 2008 and went on to start work on their sixth studio album, “Neighborhoods”, which was released in 2011 and charted at number 2 in the US.

Blink-182 has cited The Ramones, The Cure and The Vandals, amongst others, as influences for their music, but the reality is that Blink-182 are massive influencers and inspirations for musicians all around the world. The band inspired the second wave of pop punk music in the new millennium and also single-handedly bought this music into the mainstream. For this reason, their music will certainly live on for generations.

Live reviews

Well let me start off by saying that this was my first rock concert that I have ever been too. It was amazing, the sound was amazing and they were amazing. I've always liked Blink-182 because they were kind of more on the "nice" side of rock. Not like heavy metal. When they performed in Phoenix, the opening acts were A Day To Remember and All Time low. I am not sure if that is the same for everyone. If you don't like heavy metal than I would suggest skipping the All Time Low act. Also, don't be in a rush to go to there concert because I got there at 6:00, the doors opened at 7:30. They started playing around 9:30. So its okay if you were a little late.

Sexual jokes;

They do make jokes about sex... A lot of jokes about sex and some of them are worse than others. But the only people who made jokes were the opening acts.

There is DEFINITELY a lot of cursing. But what do you expect? It's a Blink-182 concert.

When I went there we sat pretty close to the stage. The pit is a little crazy but nothing to bad. There will be a lot of drugs, smoking, and alcohol there. I sat behind a guy that was totally drunk and there are people smoking EVERYWHERE.

If your child is 9 or younger, Please leave them home, it's just not safe. And if it means that you can't go to the concert, than just stay home. It's better to be safe than sorry.

If your child is 10-14, I think they should go with a parent/guardian.

If your child is 15-16 I would say, make sure they have some adult supervision available to them if they ever got in an emergency.

If your child is 17+, I think they will be fine depending on how mature they are.

It's not worth it. You go to a five minuet sound check and for the meet and greet, you don't even do anything. It's just not worth spending your money.

Even though the VIP is a rip off, I would still, highly suggest you go to there concert, it was phenomenal.

WAIT FOR IT !!!........... LIL WAYNE cancelled just hours before the show (rolling my eyes) so needless to say happy we showed up at 9pm because instead of lil wayne the fans were entertained by music mashups of rock and rap (crappy mix ups by the way) and music by the backstreet boys or n sync not sure which boy band it was but i was super annoyed when i heard the near sold out crowd singing along of "i want it that way" really crappy song but all these idiots were singing along like it was 6th grade but on to the positive blink 182 put on a great set for a whole 60 minutes yep 1 hour started at 9:30 was done by 10:30 great set pyro, smoke, cool video stage set up NO TOM DELONGE some new guy not his fault he played great but it wasnt teb same he didnt really sound like TOM so it was like blink 182 karaoke for some of the songs and the short set time I mean shit lil wayne doesnt show these guys could have saved the day and played longer but in typical rock star fashion they charged full price for tickets delivered half of a show and a short set disapointed much ? YEAH I WAS hate to say it but I mean it wasnt a 20 dollar ticket here tickets were not cheap but the amount of entertainment vs the amount paid for the ticket was not EQUAL felt pretty ripped off as a whole save your money this go round NOT WORTH THE CASH plus we drove 4 hours to go to this show so a few hundred dollars later we got and hour of a headliner entertainment hell KISS are 70 years old and played for 2 and a half hours the tickets were pricey but hell they were showmen and lots of fire, pyro, smoke, fireworks, ect stunts elevating risers ect so you tell me if its worth it to go see 40 year old entitled punks vs 70 year old vets who are doing a cash grab no doubt but are still delivering an experirience

Blink 182 has been my favorite band as a kid back in ‘96 when I first heard of them and will always be. I finally got to see them live for the first tine ever in 2016, 20 years later because they came close to my hometown in Greenville, SC. Then about 3 months later to my actual hometown in Charleston, SC. I was close to the middle up front and had the time of my life. I thank the whole band for making one person’s dream come true just to see you live. I’ve always wanted to meet Mark and Travis!! I was so like it’s cool when Mark tried to throw me a pick but it landed short and he apologized and he Ent on with the show. But my heart filled up with joy when, in my opinion, the greatest drummer in the whole universe, Travis Barker!!!!, acknowledged me when I gave him a thumbs up. Wish I could meet and talk to then!! A dream for a lifetime. Blink 182 you will always be number 1 to me and hold a special place in my heart as you do to millions of fans!! Love you all and can’t wait for the bext album!! Including Mark’s new band aka The Side Piece. Mark if you ever read this’ please don’t take offense to the comment. Blink 4 Life!! Peace...

Think early 2000s fashion, baggy jeans, chains, and terrible hair, ‘say it ain’t so, I will not go, turn the lights off, carry me home’. This song takes me right back to my young teenage self, jumping round my bedroom with a hairbrush as a microphone. Back in 2012 when I got asked if I would like to go and see Blink-182 live, I thought, sure!

Although my enthusiasm for them had somewhat dwindled over the last decade, it’s always fun to have a bit of a throwback and that’s exactly what I was hoping for when I went to their London O2 Arena concert. Even from the upper tier of the arena, the sound quality was amazing and as they game out on stage they began playing ‘Feeling This’ over the tumultuous sound of a cheering arena crowd.

The atmosphere was fuelled by the incredible set of the album cover and laser lights dancing across the stage and out towards the audience. As the show progressed, they began singing more and more classic, culminating in ‘All the Small Things’, which is what everyone was desperate to hear.

They really did put on a fantastic show, great vocals, performance, and energy, I’m so glad I went.

There's not much to say about a Blink-182 live show apart from the fact it must be seen to be believed. Having been pioneers of the pop/punk revival of the 90's, Blink have a huge string of cult hits and a fan base of all ages who continue to fill out their shows with no sign of slowing down.

The cheers are raised as the band confidently take to stage, running around, laughing, joking from the offset as if they were about to start a garage jam session rather than entertain thousands. This air of carelessness carries on as Blink are not a band who take themselves seriously during performance, during mass singalongs to 'What's My Age Again' they are often jovially moving around stage and baiting the crowds below.

The act does get a little relentless as it can feel as if the band hasn't really grown up since its formation. Although there are moments of sincerity in the form of 'I Miss You' and a well performed cover of 'Hybrid Moments' by Misfits. 'All The Small Things' obviously receives the best reaction, and the performance of this cult anthem is incredibly fun.

Took my 2 songs (20 & 16). Wanted to see both Frank Turner - who I've seen loads - and Blink

Managed to get access to O2 Priority & use their cloakrooms & loos before going into the Arena.

Frank T & The Sleeping Souls as always nailed it. How often do you see a support act crowdsurf

Then onto Blink. Stsrted with a bang literally. Flag dropped to reveal a firey F U C K behind the band.

From then they took us through a mixture of new songs for California (Bored to Death, Kings of the Weekend, Los Angeles + others) & old classics (Feeling This, I Miss You, Reckless Abandon, All the Small Things, Dumpweed & Dammit to name a few). Check out the setlist at setlist.com

Throughout the set we have flames, smoke burst, amazing graphics, firework waterfall and of course an end of set confetti canon

Travis' drumming was amazing & night finishing with his son performing a drum solo

A great night was had by all

Show exceeded expectations and was THRILLED we didn't have to listen to Lil Wayne - bonus. Thanks to St. Louis for helping to move him on his way to the next venue. Loved hearing Enema of the State in its entirety. Wish they had included Always but the other added songs were great as well. I thought Matt sounded great and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of the songs from California and NINE. Sad no encore but had a total blast singing along and dancing. Super charged stage show and Travis' drum solo was amazing but never long enough for me! (I'm sure plenty long for him - what a work out!) Neck Deep also put on a great performance. They are a GREAT opening act for Bink. Thanks for the show - and long lasting memories.

Best day of my whole entire life. These guys can rock the hell out of you. Amazing performance, amazing song list, amazing audience and atmosphere. When you see what Travis Barker does on the drums you are standing there with your jaw dropped and cannot believe it. I was a bit aftaid that the sound was going to be exactly like on the videos with Tom singing but no! This guy sings great and Mark too. Not a single problem with the sound. I loved in particular Rock Show, Always, Small Things, First Date and Down. Every time these guys are in town - just go there without thinking. We're atually very close to going to Leipzig tonight to see them one more time right away :)

Matt Skiba was filling in for Tom but the band didn't miss a beat all. The show at their old stomping grounds, SOMA in San Diego, was an unforgettable performance. The crowd was filled with a few too many teenagers who were more concerned with snapchatting the band than listening to them, but the band's performance made the show amazing regardless. Mark has enough funny/not-funny one liners to add some humor to the show, but overall it's just an awesome band cranking out the hits, as well as some throwbacks and deeper cuts. I've been a fan of them for 15 years and the show still exceeded all my expectations. I'd relive that show over and over.

checkag’s profile image

The concert was sick! Everyone in the crowd (young, old, boy, girl, hardcore punk rock, or less so) was hype and having a great time! The energy onstage was contagious, you could feel it all through the venue! The lights and pyrotechnics were perfectly timed and kept the liveliness up all night. Blink 182 played an outstanding mix of thier old and new songs. It was crazy, I felt like I was frozen in time. The songs I used to listen to as a kid still make me feel alive. Blink 182 is timeless and they seem to only get better with age. I'm really happy I didn't miss this concert, this was truly one for the books!

In  a four-star review of the first of their two London shows ,  NME  praised the band for their ability to blend their signature pop-punk attitudes with more heartfelt moments.

“Between songs, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge are an inimitable comic duo, trading jibes over their on-stage mistakes and building collective punchlines with well-oiled timing,” it read.

“But in contrast, their serious moments are profound. ‘Stay Together For The Kids’ serves as a magnificent reminder of Blink’s ability to cut deeper than standard she-broke-my-heart emo fare; ‘Adam’s Song’ becomes especially raw as Hoppus relates it to the decline in his mental health during his cancer treatment.”

Additionally, their new album received similar praise from  NME , who  awarded it three-stars and celebrated it for its “surprisingly touching” moments.

In other news, Matt Skiba has shared one of his biggest regrets from his time in Blink-182.

The summer 2024 concert series includes 30 performances across as many cities in the US, kicking off on June 20 in Orlando, Florida.

Blink-182 singer/bassist Mark Hoppus (L) and singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge perform in 2009. The band confirmed the classic lineup would once again reunite.

Blink-182, San Diego's kings of pop-punk, are getting the band back together.

Tom DeLonge is rejoining bandmates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker for the first time in seven years. The band announced via their web site and social media that they would be embarking on a world tour starting in March 2023 are are releasing a new song, "Edging," on Friday, with a new album to follow.

DeLonge has quit the band twice and now returned twice. For the last seven years, Matt Skiba of the band Alkaline Trio has taken his place.

The band formed in 1992, playing all over San Diego in YMCAs, basements and VFW halls before releasing their first record Cheshire Cat in 1995 and catching the eye of major record labels. In 1997, their album Dude Ranch saw Blink-182 receive major radio play for the song "Dammit."

The original lineup featured Scott Raynor on drums, Mark Hoppus on bass and Tom DeLonge on guitar, before Scott Raynor was fired in 1998 and replaced with Travis Barker. This cemented the lineup for the band that would then record 1999's Enema of the State, which became a gigantic commercial success, selling over 15 million records.

The band was known for their sense of humor and music videos that aired regularly on MTV. In 2001 they released Take Off Your Pants and Jacket , which went on to be their second highest-selling record. In 2003 they released a self-titled album featuring a more mature sound.

Tensions within the band led to DeLonge leaving in 2005 and forming the group Angels and Airwaves, while Hoppus and Barker formed their own group +44.

In 2008, the band would reunite again after Barker was nearly killed in a plane crash that took the life of four people and critically injured Adam Goldstein, known as "DJ AM."

After Barker healed from injuries, Blink-182 toured again and released the 2011 record Neighborhoods . The band stayed together for seven more years before DeLonge parted the band again, citing creative differences.

In the intervening years, DeLonge became involved in funding investigations of UFOs .

With Skiba on guitar, the band released the albums California in 2016 and Nine in 2019.

In June 2021, Mark Hoppus confirmed that he had received a cancer diagnosis and had been undergoing treatment.

At the end of the year, Hoppus declared he was cancer-free. In an interview with People , Hoppus said the trio had spent some time together before his chemotherapy began, and they were in "a really great place right now." The bassist added: "I keep writing music, and I'm open to whatever the next phase of Blink is ... I'm hopeful for the future. I'm just damn glad to be here."

Music and concerts | concert review: blink-182 performs act of magic at petco park san diego homecoming show, the sold-out performamance, which also featured san diego's pierce the veil and england's hot milk, was a welcome victory lap for the poway-bred blink. the usually brash three-man band concluded its performance on an uncharacteristically poignant note..

blink 182 tour in us

There were no visible acts of magic performed during blink-182’s sold-out, often triumphant homecoming concert Sunday night at Petco Park in downtown San Diego. No rabbits were pulled from hats. No one was sawed in half. No one was lowered upside down into a tank of water that was then padlocked and draped in black.

Even so, this Poway-bred pop-punk trio accomplished a feat that was as uncharacteristic as it was impressive. The usually raucous band — long noted for its brash, proudly juvenile lyrics and profane stage patter about sex and various bodily functions — concluded its 92-minute, 26-song concert with an introspective ballad about friendship, love and mortality.

Downbeat, vulnerable and unabashedly sentimental, “One More Time” is the title track of blink’s 2023 album. It’s the group’s first since 2011 to feature guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge back in the fold after his 12-year hiatus from recording with the band.

The new album was released three years after bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma — and 16 years after drummer Travis Barker survived a fiery plane crash that killed four of the six passengers aboard. Each of these life-or-death experiences inspired the members of this now-32-year-old band to reunite after extended periods of estrangement, the latest of which saw DeLonge replaced by Matt Skiba from 2015 to 2022.

“It shouldn’t take a sickness, or airplanes falling out of the sky,” DeLonge sang to his two bandmates and the 40,000-plus audience at Petco Park. “Do I have to die to hear you miss me? Do I have to die to hear you say goodbye? I don’t want to act like there’s tomorrow / I don’t want to wait to do this one more time.”

Pensive and understated, “One More Time” almost seemed to come from a different planet than most of the concert, including the four high-octane blink favorites that immediately preceded it: “What’s My Age Again?”; “First Date”; “All the Small Things”; and “Dammit” (which playfully quoted the chorus from Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”).

Drum dynamo Travis Barker of blink-182 performs at Petco Park on Sunday, June 30, 2024 in San Diego, CA. (Meg McLaughlin / The San Diego Union-Tribune)

Swift, incidentally, performed at Petco in 2015 , about seven months after DeLonge’s departure from the band. The first Petco show by blink, with Skiba on board, came in 2019 at an invitation-only twitch.com convention.

Last year’s reunion of blink with DeLonge, who replaced his own replacement to rejoin Hoppus and Barker, kicked off at the 2023 Coachella festival in Indio. It was followed by a tour that included two shows last summer at Pechanga Arena San Diego.

There was a “welcome-back” air of celebration at blink’s Pechanga concerts . But it paled compared to the triumph of Sunday’s Petco performance, which was the sixth stop on blink’s 2024 North American summer tour and includes a Saturday L.A. date at SoFi Stadium.

At Pechanga, blink’s members were feeling their way back together. Hoppus was still regaining his voice after multiple rounds of chemotherapy, while Barker’s ferociously virtuosic drumming tended to dominate many songs, which was both a plus and a minus. The band’s Pechanga repertoire did not include “One More Time,”  “Edging” or the four other songs from blink’s latest album that were performed Sunday.

The Poway-bred pop-punk band blink-182 lit up Petco Park on Sunday. (Meg McLaughlin / The San Diego Union-Tribune)

Happily, those new songs accounted for some of the highlights at Petco, most notably the thundering “More Than You Know” and the snappy, lust-fueled “Dance With Me,” which boasts the gloriously silly refrain: “Olé, olé, olé, olé!”

Very few veteran bands these days dare to include so many songs from their newest album, let alone a pop-punk band bringing its pyrotechnics-punctuated stadium show to a finish with a contemplative ballad about the frailty of life.

Playing with a renewed sense of purpose, blink took to the enormous circular stage after spirited opening sets by England’s Hot Milk and San Diego’s Pierce The Veil , whose enthusiastically received eight-song set culminated with rousing renditions of “Pass the Nirvana” and “King for a Day.”

Drummer Lionel Robinson and singer/guitarist Vic Fuentes of San Diego's Pierce The Veil performed Sunday at Petco Park prior to blink-182. (Meg McLaughlin / The San Diego Union-Tribune)

“We’re blink 182-from Poway!” DeLonge declared to cheers. It was one of multiple hometown references, including a shout-out to Rocket From The Crypt as “the greatest band ever to walk the face of the earth.”

“We used to play at a club not far from here,” Hoppus said, in between “Aliens Exist” and “Dance With Me.” “Our biggest (expletive) goal was to sell SOMA out.”

It was at SOMA that Hoppus and DeLonge met Barker, then the drummer in the Orange County ska-punk band The Aquabats. He joined blink in 1998, replacing the trio’s original drummer, Scott Traynor.

One of the most accomplished rock and hip-hop drummers of his generation, Barker combines expert precision and electrifying power in his playing. On Sunday, he alternated between two drum kits, one front and center on the stage, the other on on a metallic riser that hovered nearly 20 feet above the rear of the stage.

Other rock stars over the years have performed on drum kits suspended in the air, be it Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s Carl Palmer in the 1970s, Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee in the 1990s or Muse’s Dominic Howard in more recent years. But none of them can elevate even the most elemental songs as well as Barker did throughout blink’s Petco concert.

Whether playing pile-driving beats at insanely accelerated tempos or skittering syncopations that seemed to pay homage to the groundbreaking work of the late hip-hop production visionary J Dilla, Barker was a constant source of percussive skill, fire and imagination.

After “Dance With Me” concluded, Hoppus gleefully told the cheering, multigenerational crowd: “You can’t join a band and do what we do! It’s unique to us.”

On cue, DeLonge responded with a quip about oral sex, a topic that — like flatulence and incest — has long been a staple of blink’s stage patter.

Later, when DeLonge claimed to have lost his virginity to “the sister of a friend,” Hoppus volunteered that it was his sister, Anne, and – with a grin – described the situation as “awkward.”

If DeLonge, 48, and Hoppus, 52, appear too old to engage in such lowbrow hijinks, well, maturity has never been blink’s goal. Except, that is, with the show-closing “One More Time,” a song whose tender sentiments suggest that poignant insights and fart jokes can coexist at a rock show, even by a band whose potty-mouthed teenage sensibilities remain perpetually front and center.

Blink-182 One More Time tour setlist: Every song they played in Phoenix

B link-182 treated fans to a hit-filled setlist on the trio’s second metro Phoenix date since Tom DeLonge rejoined the fold after a nine-year absence.

The reunited pop-punk veterans played a sold-out show at Footprint Center in Phoenix when the One More Time Tour made its first appearance in the Valley in 2023.

On Tuesday, July 2, they drew a capacity crowd to Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale.

Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

The tour is named in honor of their first new album with DeLonge since 2011’s “Neighborhoods."

When DeLonge left Blink-182 in 2015, Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus  recruited Matt Skiba  of Alkaline Trio and carried on, releasing two albums, 2016’s "California" and 2019’s "Nine.”

On Tuesday night, they only did one song from “California” and nothing off “Nine,” but the setlist was loaded with songs from “One More Time…” and the self-titled album they released in 2003, as well as the early hit songs you'd expect, from "What's My Age Again?" to "All the Small Things."
