Story Arc: Kobali Crisis

The Kobali Crisis story arc is a chain of cross-faction missions available to all factions. The quest is part of "The Galaxy at Large" side content. It takes place during the events of the Delta Quadrant episode arc, between “The Kobali Front” and “Dust to Dust” .
The episode arc serves as an introduction to the Kobali Prime Adventure Zone. Join Captain Harry Kim and help the Kobali defend their capital city from the relentless Vaadwaur forces. But not everything is as clear as it seems, and the conflict between the Vaadwaur and the Kobali may not be as black and white as the Alliance Command believes.

- "The Kobali Crisis Act I", "Act II" and "Act III" are wrappers for the repeatable story missions in the Kobali Prime Adventure Zone . The missions in the adventure zone were released on October 14, 2014 but were originally not part of the "Mission Journal". They were added to the Mission Journal individually on October 25, 2016. On January 29, 2017 they were then removed, and replaced by three wrapper missions. They were then removed from the journal again on October 9, 2018. They can be found in the "Available" tab once “The Kobali Front” has been completed.

The delta quadrant - kobali crisis bugged.
Posted on 16 July 17 at 18:42 I looked at the STO reddit and a few other sources for help, and I can't seem to make any headway. Even though I had already completed this and a few subsequent missions in the Delta Quadrant arc when STO first launched, after the latest patch my progress is halted at Kobali Crisis Act I. I have completed every sub-mission in this episode four times. Once by getting the missions directly from the general, three times by using the mission replay. I play them in their intended order. I've tried playing replaying them while keeping the episode as my primary mission and by leaving it dropped. No matter what I do, I can't get the mission "wrapper" to trigger and can make no progress in the episode. Is there a workaround that anyone knows of? I do not want to slog my way through the previous episodes with another character all over again just to get the Delta Quadrant and Iconian War achievements.
Posted on 22 July 17 at 11:52 When the recent patch came out, they condensed a large part of the Delta Quadrant story arc, specifically the Kobali Crisis missions. If you'd already completed them and were past that point, they still made everyone go back and do them over again as they were considered 'incomplete'. I had to go back and do them over again, and I ran into a lot of weird bugs when I did which had to do with accepting and replaying the missions. I'll need to know a bit more though to help troubleshoot. 1. What do you mean by Wrapper? Do you mean " Main Episode Quest recognizes that The Cavalry has been complete and progresses to The Son"? Or are you talking about the whole Crisis Act I won't register as completed. 2. Immediately after you talk to the General and choose a reward for The Cavalry, does the blue prompt '"The Cavalry Complete!"' pop up? 3. When you complete "The Cavalry" and return to the general to turn it in, does the mission then go onto a cooldown where you can't accept it again? 4. The intended order is Cavalry, Son, Temple, and Data Recovery. You mentioned that you're doing it in the correct order, but does anything happen at all after you defeat the people on the bridge in Cavalry, and go turn it in? You for sure have to have the 'Kobali Crisis Act I' as a mission in your journal, it won't register you've done them in the past. I just went through and replayed it trying to recreate your problem, the system updates the Crisis Act I for me right after selecting the reward.

1) make the transport system independent like the other adventure zones 2) adjust the story arc so transporters are in act one where you finish off 3) removing the detour between act 1 and 2 in the journal I know most people who have played it before skip it but I think this would improve the flow of this section.

The problem appears to be the same on all platforms: the "wrapper" quests Kobali Crisis Act "X" are fragile. Interacting with the replay console makes things worse. If you do the three quests and don't get the 4th, then the wrapper is broken. What seems to work is to drop the wrapper quest (and any of the sub-quests if still showing), and then ...
Starting Kobali Crisis Act III, available form Q'Nel, does not open up any additional quests that I can find. Going to the terminal to the left of Q'nel with repeat missions has the complete array of quests for Act I. Act II is entirely empty, Act III is not listed.
