Has anyone ever used undercovertourist.com to purchase park tickets? On another WDW/DCL forum, they are all purchasing them there. I just wanted to see if anyone here has used them and is it really cheaper?

They're slightly cheaper. The main difference is you're not dealing with tax and shipping, from what I recall.
I've used them a couple times now. No problems
We have bought tickets from Undercover Tourist many times over the last several years. I've never found cheaper tickets elsewhere. It is not a huge savings, but every little bit helps!
I've used them for both WDW and Universal tickets in years past. Great service, quick mailing, no issues. You will save some dollars on multi-day tickets. Great if you are staying off-site and not wanting a Disney package with dining.

Used them several times to purchase park tickets. Never had a problem!
I have used UT several times. They have great customer service and fast shipping.
I've used them twice and I'm completely satisfied. The last time was last summer. Immediately after WDW boosted pass prices and caught me off-guard, I ordered from UT and got the passes at the old rate. Sweeeet. Be very careful about what you order. Once you receive the tickets and open the plastic wrapper, they're un-returnable. Check the tickets carefully before you open the wrapper.
If you're staying on-property, at a DVC resort for example, you can take the paper UT tickets to Guest Services and they'll transfer them to your KTTW card so you only have one card to carry. In addition, if you lose the KTTW card, it can be replaced, tickets intact.
We used them, no problems. Actually using them again this September without a hesitation.
I just ordered multi-day tickets for Universal through them on Monday. They shipped on Tuesday and I should be receiving them today. They were recommended by mousesavers.com. So far no complaints.

MouseSavers/Undercover Tourist
If I am not allowed to ask this here, please Mods, just delete this. I am not trying to navigate people away from Touring Plans.
I subscribe to MouseSavers - I have for years and years. Most months, I just move the email to my “Vacation Information” email box, but when I have a trip in mind I will read it.
Someone on another forum pointed out to me that they have a section that keeps an up-to-date list of the IGT/OGT/VGT rates. I’ve been watching that for a few weeks and am hoping to pounce tomorrow (oh - please be tomorrow) if they list a rate for the 9/30 trip I want.
Well - last night I was reading all the blah-blah-blah words all over the website and lo-and-behold, I read about discounts if you book through Undercover Tourist. So - I just had to give it a try.
I picked a 7-night Fantasy, Western Caribbean out of PC for 9/7 that I would love to go on, if it weren’t for our pesky school schedule.
It is listed as *GT with a VGT.
What do I “lose” by using an agent. What do I gain?
I have used UCT many times for park tickets - I used this year for DLR and SeaWorld most recently.
I always use a TA to book my Disney cruises. If there are any problems, she waits on the phone to get the answers. She calls in to make my payments for the cruises and books transportation to and from the port. We usually stay at a Disney resort at least two days before the cruise and she makes those reservations as well. I don’t feel that I’ve ever lost anything using a TA. I do feel that I gain time as she’s the one that invests the time to make the calls and reservations and payments. I can text her any questions I have and get answers.
My first cruise was October 2021 and was one of the first few to go out. She was invaluable to me at that time. For the October 2022 cruise we had booked with a placeholder initially. A VGT rate came up and she called to make those changes for me. For our October 2023 cruise, my DH tore his Achilles tendon and had a saddle clot pulmonary embolism in August and was going to be able to cruise. I was able to call the TA, ask her what my options were since we’d already paid in full, and had her switch DH to adult DS. I know that took some time on the phone for her so that was time I didn’t have to spend.
I’ll always use a TA to book cruises and my Disney vacation rooms.
UT has a great reputation. Are they consider a TA or a 3rd party booking site? This could mean the difference in terms of the sale. May want to check out what the differences are. I’ve only ever bought UOR tix from UT and was very happy with them. I also love Mouse Savers!
good point - I think it is more like an Expedia.
I am so sad no *GTs posted (yet) today.
I’ll book this week one way or the other… but I’d love a lower rate.

If I could give these people zero stars…
If I could give these people zero stars I would. BUYER BEWARE! Bought concert tickets from them in June. Concert is tomorrow and I still haven't received said tickets. I call and keep getting put on hold for "research" and they tell me to call back at such and such time and they will have an answer. Call back at such snd such time and I am given the same song and dance to call back blah blah blah. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! Buy tickets from a reputable company! I sure wish I had!!!

Thank you for your feedback and we apologize for the inconvenience experienced with your recent order. Under normal circumstances, tickets to live events are delivered within at least 24 hours ahead of the event start time. Unfortunately, the seller faced a technical challenge in fulfilling your order. While such situations are rare, we work diligently with our partners to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience as we addressed your concerns, and for allowing us the opportunity to come to a resolution.
Good prices/staff/options
Good prices, easy to use website. Tickets sent almost instantly. Better prices than we get here in Ireland. Super helpful staff when I needed to change my ticket dates.

We appreciate the awesome feedback. Enjoy all the great deals and hope to hear from you again. Thank you.
Avoid buying your tickets from Universal Tourist
Avoid buying your tickets from Universal Tourist until the day you need them. Purchased Kennedy Space Center tickets and then KSC ran and deal that was half what I paid with Universal Tourist. Order number 476931-082824
Date of experience : September 17, 2024
We offer the best deals on our website in comparison to what the actual location charges. However, if the partner runs an online special that is something they are allowed to do in terms of their inventory and monthly promotions when needed. We sent this over to our partner team to research ticket information and pricing.
Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service. A big thank you to Stephanie. I had pre-booked dated Universal tickets. On the morning of the visit, we had a very poorly family member who couldn’t even get out of bed. We were gutted as we thought we’d lost the money. I messaged the team via live chat and they got back to me instantly. They gave me a 95% refund and will refund my extra 5% if I rebook a new order within 30 days. I am so grateful for your quick and helpful support.

We appreciate the awesome feedback and hope to hear from you all soon. Thank you.
E-tickets are non refundable for Universal studios
UPDATE - CS refunded without any issues within 24 hours. - Make sure to check your dates before submitting orders. Disney tickets have to be reserved using Disney website. Read the ticket before you go. Universal tickets are only for the designated date, these tickets are non refundable unless there's reasonable excuse. Also, the website glitches and erase the date from step 1 to step 2 to check out. ----------- OP ------They advertise “90 day ticket return” and that you can use them for 365 days. The website glitched and universal hollywood ticket printed a wrong date. I called after 10 mins of placing an order and asked if they can change the date. They say it's non refundable, I just need to cancel and reorder a new ticket then they said E-tickets are non refundable. And after escalation I have to wait 72 hours to get a response when I have a trip coming up next week.

Should have read the reviews here…
Should have read the reviews here first. Not happy with this company. Bought 4 day tickets plus options to WDW for 4 adults cost $2,635.80 (US). Thought I was getting a good deal. Now find advised on the WDW official website for the same days as $2,198.16 (US). Undercover Tourist have advised bad luck and no difference refund. Cannot recommend them. Update 2 Oct 24: sent the details as requested by Undercover Tourist below 3 months ago with no response.

We apologize but our rates are contracted by the actual park to which our discount is compared to the gate price. Please provide us an order number and we will gladly investigate this.
ordered 4 tickets to discovery cove…
ordered 4 tickets to discovery cove via undercover tourist totaling 1071.00 dollars. the plans changed and one person couldn't make it. i called to cancel just one ticket and they said id have to reorder the 3 tickets and prove to them before they'd cancel these tickets. i asked where this policy was displayed on their website and they said "its not, its just our policy" that's illegal. i told them ill pay the 5% and just cancel the whole order and order direct from discovery cove. they said ok, two weeks later still waiting for my money, 2 more days until Ill be disputing the charges and getting my whole return back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Jay, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you've encountered. We strive to provide exceptional service, and it's disheartening to hear that we fell short of your expectations. We understand that changes in plans can be frustrating, and we're sorry for any confusion regarding our cancellation policy. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we'd like to clarify that our policy is indeed outlined in our terms and conditions, which can be found at https://www.undercovertourist.com/terms/. Regarding your specific case, we understand your frustration with the 5% penalty for cancellations. While this policy is in place to cover delivery, handling, and processing fees, we do recognize that each situation is unique. As a gesture of goodwill, we occasionally have the flexibility to waive this fee, particularly if the customer chooses to rebook with us. To better assist you, we have reached out on TrustPilot asking for additional details so that we can look into this matter further. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have the chance to regain your trust in the future. Hopping to assist you soon, The Undercover Tourist Customer Experience Team
Prepare to be disappointed when using Undercover Tourist
We purchased tickets to the Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland for a vacation with my son and his family. Everything looked like it was accepted but then 2 days later we got a call that "Disneyland did not accept the reservation" and it was canceled. I was furious! My son and daughter-in-law said they just received an email saying their reservation had been canceled as well. They shouldn't be advertising rooms that they clearly don't have in their inventory! I have never had this happen with other 3rd party companies! This caused a lot of undue stress, and we had to rebook our rooms directly through Disneyland. The stress this caused was NOT worth the experience using them.

We apologize the hotel booking did not go through for you. We found an order for you for Disney Park tickets and do not see an order for any hotel under your name. Please call us back or reach out to us with the order number for the hotel you are referring to and we will investigate this matter with the hotel supplier.
Thanks for all your help
Thanks for all your help. My money has been refunded and back in my account today after we had to get a refund on our Universal Studios tickets. Fantastic communication and reassurance during a very tricky time. We are hoping to come back to Orlando next year🤞and won't hesitate to recommend and use Undercover Tourist for our park tickets. It's not how people treat you when things are good but how they treat you when things are bad that shows their true colours. You've all been wonderful at helping us on this difficult time. Thank you once again and stay safe 💜 🐸

Intentionally Obtuse Customer Service
Scam company with nonexistent customer service. If you get any response from them regarding an issue, it will be something like, “I’m sorry. We don’t understand your concern. Can you please explain it to us again for the 3rd time?” Screenshots, detailed step-by-step explanations, phone conversations… Nothing works. They basically will try to wear you down until you determine that it’s no longer worth your time. Avoid this company at all costs.

Smooth experience
Bought three Disneyland tickets and it was very smooth. At first I was skeptical after reading all the bad reviews, but decided to test my luck since they offer a few bucks off. I did encounter their "validation" progress, but it was super simple - just enter the pending amount they hold on your credit card. After this was complete, I received tickets within one minutes. The tickets were valid on Disney website.

Recently bought a Black Friday deal for sea world San Diego. Called customer service a few times on the buy one get one free ticket and was duped into buying several sets to get free tickets. Turns out their deal was no better than one provided directly on Sea World website. With my dollars, hours of call time with three different representatives I will not use their site again.

Simple, genuine and 1-day Disney Tix!
It's midnight in the UK 8th October 2022. I've just booked two 1-day tickets for my kids for the 18th Oct. I couldn't find 1-day tickets anywhere else (the missus and I already have long-term tickets). Wanted to book in advance because reservations were only available for the 18th and 20th for the Park we wanted and we were concerned it would become unavailable like the other dates we are in the US. UT was an Absolute doddle. Booked the tickets - paid via PayPal - got the tickets emailed to me immediately. Spoke on Chat to Louise beforehand, who allayed any fears I had before booking and was swift in her replies and helpful. I used the 12 character reference on my e-tickets to immediately make the Park reservation on the Disney site and it all went through fine. Very happy and recommend.

We had to wait for an hour at Busch…
We had to wait for an hour at Busch Gardens for someone to know what to do with our voucher. I gave them 3 stars since this may not be their fault but these vouchers aren’t universally recognized. We also had to wait in a line at Aquatica to get a manager to print real tickets. I would say not really worth the lower price for the worry and stress that it won’t be accepted or recognized.
Very Misleading, Won’t Change Dates
Tickets are cheaper, and they advertise “90 day ticket return” and that you can use them for 365 days. BUT if you don’t read the fine print, that’s only some tickets. I tried to change our Universal Hollywood tickets to one day earlier and they absolutely refused. Very misleading (even my email at the top says 90 day return)! Never will I use them again or recommend them again!

Disneyland ok, last minute hotel drop cost us.
The Disneyland tickets were a good deal. But the hotel never reserved properly, leaving us scrambling for a hotel and paying almost $300 more because of their system. Instead of trying to fix the issue, they kept giving a run around of "that can happen, sorry to hear, sucks to be you" replies. I found another app (Klook) that I am trying next.

Do not recommend
Horrible checkout experience with the payment verification. Finally was able to book, but when we went to check in to our hotel we learned they had cancelled our reservation despite already charging us in full for it. Had to book the hotel out of pocket at less than ideal rates. Have not received any response back from them nor a refund. Do not recommend.

I’m not sure how this company is even…
I’m not sure how this company is even in business with all of the negative reviews I have seen. Their website does not have a clear expectation E- tickets being nonrefundable. If anything, right under where you click “ get tickets” and place them in your cart it clearly states a 365 ticket return policy. I have sent them screenshots and have told them Multiple times that the way it looks on a mobile device vs a computer is not the same and there is absolutely nowhere that says it is a non-refundable purchase between placing the tickets in your cart and paying. I paid $195 for Kennedy space center tickets only to realize 2 weeks later that it is actually 3 hours from where we was going to be staying and making the trip is not feasible. This has become a complete nightmare with this company. I would stay away from buying tickets with them, Because if something happens, and you’re not able to use them, you will not get your money back.
Date of experience : May 29, 2024
We apologize and will see if a refund can possibly be provided. As a result, we are checking with the partner to see if anything else can be done about this matter.
New York City pass direct from the…
New York City pass direct from the website has a full refund - when you purchase from them there is NO REUFND. What a scam I'd highly suggest NOT purchasing anything from them and using directly with the company vrs a third party

Their 365 day money back guarantee is a scam. They will try to send you to Disney to fix the issue bc they know Disney will at least give a free ticket if you can't go due to illness. Undercover Tourist doesn't want to spend the money to honor their commitments. I can't tell you how any people they transferred us to. I will make sure everyone I know and others never make this mistake.

Interested in booking a cruise for a date or itinerary that hasn’t been announced yet? You can submit a booking request for a Disney cruise, even before Disney Cruise Line releases the schedule. Save yourself some stress and fill out the Small World Vacations Wait List form in advance and they’ll book your preferred cruise the first day you are eligible, at no cost to you! Plus, you can get up to $1000 in FREE onboard credit courtesy of Small World Vacations! (All staterooms and cruises are subject to availability at the time of booking.)
Disney Cruise Line announces their cruise dates and itineraries for only a few months at a time: January through April, then May through September and finally, September through December. Once the new itineraries come out, booking begins just a day or two later, first to Castaway Club members (people who’ve been on a previous Disney cruise) and then to the general public.
The people who book earliest almost always get the lowest possible price . Sometimes there will be last-minute deals via the restricted guarantee fares or Florida Resident fares , but only a small percentage of cruises ever have those fares, and those fares aren’t always cheaper than opening day fares. In addition, early bookers get first dibs on staterooms, making it the best way to land one of the hardest-to-get staterooms like the Secret Porthole and Secret Verandah rooms. Lots of people know about these advantages, so on the days the new itineraries become available for booking, both the phone lines and website get slammed.
There’s an easy way to avoid the scramble to book on the first day the bookings open: submit a request to Small World Vacations now. You just need basic information like where you want to go (Caribbean, Alaska, Norway, Europe, etc.), the date range you want, the kind of stateroom you want (inside, outside, verandah) and the names and ages of the people going. Let them know if you are a Castaway Club Member by including your Member Number and Level (Platinum, Gold or Silver). You can add other preferences or priorities as needed – early dining, lower deck, upper deck, not over a nightclub – whatever is important to you. Their agents will review your request, contact you to confirm they understand your priorities, and then you can relax and let your personal agent book your cruise when the time comes. Your agent will provide their email and direct phone number, so you can discuss your options and preferences.
On the day the itineraries become available for your Castaway Club level, your agent will be up bright and early while you sleep in (or go about your usual day). If Disney releases a cruise that fits your criteria, your agent will typically go ahead and put a hold in place, thus reserving your stateroom(s), then email you with your cruise details and deposit information. You’ll be able to have your choice of room type and location and will lock in the opening day price. If later on you decide to change rooms on the same sailing, Disney will give you the opening day price on the new room , even if the price has gone up in the intervening days or months.
Even if you aren’t 100% sure whether you’re going to be able to go, there’s no real risk in getting a cruise booked early . Disney Cruise Line deposits for any stateroom types other than Concierge are fully refundable up to the Payment In Full date, which is 120-75 days before sailing, depending on the specific cruise and time of year. You have lots of time to figure out whether that cruise will work for you. If it doesn’t, you can get the deposit back or just transfer it to a different sailing date that works better.
The agents who handle cruise bookings for Small World Vacations have collectively sailed on more than 400 Disney cruises, and know a truly astonishing amount about all four ships, the various Disney ports of call, shore excursions and all the common itineraries (and many uncommon ones). Many of them are Platinum members of Disney’s Castaway Club, meaning that they have personally been on 10 or more Disney cruises! They’re happy to share their firsthand experience with the kids’ clubs, dining, character meets, entertainment, transportation, etc. In our experience, the travel agents at Small World Vacations are great at finding the best fares. They know all the tricks that will save you money, and they know the Disney Cruise Line inside and out. We’re confident that once you work with a really great travel agent, you’ll never want to book a cruise any other way. Read more about why we recommend using Small World Vacations to book your cruise!

New Year’s Eve
On sailings that include July 4th, there is usually a special celebration with characters dressed in red, white and blue outfits. There has not been a special fireworks show in the past, but sometimes on sailings in the Caribbean or Bahamas they move pirate night to July 4th so they will have fireworks on Independence Day. (There is no pirate night or fireworks on sailings outside the Caribbean and Bahamas.)
During this period there will be special Halloween events onboard, including Halloween-themed parties, storytellings, movies and elaborate décor, including The Pumpkin Tree, which magically transforms throughout the cruise. You will also find characters dressed in Halloween costumes, as well as a costume party for families and, just for adults, a costume contest and a Villainous Takeover on the dance floor in the nighttime entertainment district.
In the past there has not been any special menu for Halloween night itself, over and above what they do on all the Halloween themed cruises during the whole period, but there will be some special Halloween-themed treats.
Halloween on the High Seas takes place on the following sail dates:
- Disney Dream : (Not yet announced)
- Disney Fantasy : September 14 – October 26
- Disney Magic : September 9 – October 31
- Disney Wish: September 13 – October 28
- Disney Wonder : (Not yet announced)
In the past there has been a special menu on Thanksgiving Day, and pictures with Pilgrim Mickey and Minnie. The Christmas decorations will be fully up by Thanksgiving, and there will be a full set of holiday activities and events.
The following sailings include Thanksgiving Day (November 28, 2024).
- Disney Dream : 5-Night Bahamian on November 27
- Disney Fantasy : 7-Night Eastern Caribbean on November 23
- Disney Magic : 6-Night Western Caribbean on November 25
- Disney Wish: 4-Night Bahamian on November 25
- Disney Wonder : 5-Night Australian on November 24 ( note: since New Zealand & Australia don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, we don’t know if there will be a Thanksgiving Menu. )
Typically, Christmas decorations will be up from early November through the final New Year’s sailing, and there will be special holiday events during that whole period, including meet and greets with Santa Claus and with Disney characters in special Christmas outfits. Some of the more elaborate Christmas decorations, including a huge, real gingerbread house or other gingerbread decoration, will not be up until later in November.
Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, will be transformed with “snow” flurries, a Christmas tree and more. Be on the lookout for Mr. and Mrs. Snowman, dressed in their island attire. Plus, the island’s tram is decorated to resemble a reindeer, complete with antlers and a tail.
Very Merrytime Christmas-themed cruises will be offered on sailings departing between the following dates:
- Disney Dream: November 14 – December 21
- Disney Fantasy: November 10 – December 22
- Disney Magic: November 21 – December 23
- Disney Wish: November 4 – December 23
- Disney Wonder: see Holidays at Sea below
There are unique special events and a special menu on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The following sailings include Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (December 24-25, 2024).
- Disney Dream : 5-Night Western Caribbean on December 21
- Disney Fantasy : 4-Night Bahamian on December 22
- Disney Magic : 6-Night Western Caribbean on December 23
- Disney Treasure : 7-Night Eastern Caribbean on December 21

On sailings from 24th November through 28th December, there will be a Christmas tree lighting with Mickey and Minnie. You can also take photos with Disney characters in their holiday attire.
On the 24th December sailing departing Sydney, Santa Claus will make an appearance on the ship.

- Disney Magic : 4-Night Western Caribbean on December 29

- If you are interested in booking a holiday Disney cruise , we recommend either Small World Vacations or Undercover Tourist . We have worked with both companies for over 15 years and can recommend them wholeheartedly. It’s really a question of whether you prefer full-service booking or self booking. These staterooms often sell out fast, so if you see one you like, snag it quickly.
Pixar Day at Sea
Marvel day at sea, star wars day at sea.
Pixar Day at Sea includes a Pixar film festival; photo opportunities with Pixar characters; a character breakfast with Woody, Jesse and Bullseye; a theatrical performance based on Coco ; a Pixar-themed dinner; a dance party with Pixar characters; and a nighttime spectacular featuring the Incredibles.
Pixar Day at Sea will take place on select Disney Fantasy 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral in early 2024. The Eastern Caribbean cruises are January 6, 20; February 3, 17 and March 2. The Western Caribbean cruises are January 13, 27; February 10 and 24.
Marvel Day at Sea is a special all-day celebration of the Marvel Universe. Special features include multiple Marvel character meet-and-greets, Marvel-themed activities for families, Marvel movie screenings, a costume party, special merchandise and food, and an exclusive Marvel deck party. There is also an adults-only dance party with Star-Lord and Gamora.
Marvel Day at Sea will take place on select Disney Dream 5-night Western Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale on January 7, 12, 21, 26; February 4, 9, 18, 23; March 3 and 8.
Star Wars Day at Sea cruises generally feature a full day of Star Wars celebrations, including a deck party, meet-and-greets with favorite characters, Star Wars -themed youth activities, at-sea screenings of Star Wars films, unique food and beverage offerings, and special merchandise. The night before Star Wars Day at Sea, Darth Vader and Stormtroopers march into the ship’s atrium for an Imperial takeover.
Guests are encouraged to bring their costumes and participate in the costume celebration held in the ship’s atrium. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers special makeovers on Star Wars Day at Sea. Kids ages 3-12 can transform into Rey, Kylo Ren, Leia and Poe. Adults and teens, can get a Rey makeover that includes a stylish dress, makeup and hair style or choose from one of four Star Wars-themed T-shirt options. All come with a personalized name tag, lanyard with medallion and magnet set.
No Star Wars Day at Sea dates have been announced for 2024. Star Wars Day at Sea appears to have been replaced with Pixar Day at Sea, but DCL has not made an official announcement one way or the other.
- If you are interested in booking a themed Disney cruise , we recommend either Small World Vacations or Undercover Tourist . We have worked with both companies for over 15 years and can recommend them wholeheartedly. It’s really a question of whether you prefer full-service booking or self booking. These staterooms often sell out fast, so if you see one you like, snag it quickly.
Double Dip Cruises
A “Double Dip” sailing is one that visits Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay twice on the same cruise, or goes to both of them on the same cruise. Many people (including us) feel the day at one of Disney’s private beaches is the highlight of a Bahamian or Caribbean cruise, and this gives you a double dose! Both days follow the typical Castaway Cay & Lookout Cay schedule: off the ship at 8:30 am (depending on sea conditions), and all aboard at 4:45 pm. The same excursions and activities will be available both days, though if you want to do the same activity or book a cabana for both days, you’ll need to book each day separately. If you are going to Castaway Cay twice, you can run the Castaway Cay 5K twice!
In the rare event that the ship visits Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay two days in a row, the ship will not stay docked overnight. It will leave the island at the usual time on the first day and come back the next morning.
Repositioning is when a cruise starts in one port and finishes in another. These cruises can be a good deal, as they usually are cheaper per night than conventional round-trip cruises. They also tend to go to more unusual locations. The longest repositioning cruises are the Panama Canal and Transatlantic cruises, which are almost always the cheapest cruises (per night) of the whole year.
Unique cruises have an itinerary that is different from other cruise itineraries that particular ship is sailing around that time. They either visit an unusual location or locations or visit a unique combination of common locations. Repositioning cruises are all unique as well.
- If you are interested in booking a specialty Disney cruise , we recommend either Small World Vacations or Undercover Tourist . We have worked with both companies for over 15 years and can recommend them wholeheartedly. It’s really a question of whether you prefer full-service booking or self booking. These staterooms often sell out fast, so if you see one you like, snag it quickly.
2024 Adventures by Disney Cruise Packages have not yet been announced.
The Adventures by Disney Cruise Packages include 2 Adventures by Disney guides available onboard and in port; special VIP privileges; private onboard receptions; unique onshore activities; early debarkation at each port; all meals, snacks and water while in port; a photo CD with all ship photographer pictures, all Adventures by Disney guide photos and an Adventures by Disney slideshow.
- If you are interested in booking an Adventures by Disney Cruise Package , we recommend filling out a quote form with Small World Vacations . They give you full service, including a personal travel agent you can contact by email or direct phone number and we recommend them wholeheartedly ! Best of all, it costs you nothing to use them, PLUS they give you FREE onboard credit for any Disney Cruise Line booking of over $1000 total fare, good toward most onboard activities and extras such as spa treatments, shore excursions or even your bar tab.
DVC member cruises are only open to Disney Vacation Club members who have purchased at least some of their vacation points directly from Disney (rather than from another member via resale). Members can use their vacation points to book the cruise or can pay cash rates. Typically DVC cruises are significantly more expensive than similar cruises for the general public, but guests will be given a wide variety of DVC special gifts and will get to experience some exclusive member events including talks by special guests including artists, imagineers and/or actors from classic Disney movies.
Whether the DVC member cruise is worth booking is a personal judgment call. The extra events are difficult or impossible to experience any other way. The various DVC gifts are usually a mix of the usual kinds of tote bags, pens, and so forth you can get by attending a DVC meeting or buying a new DVC contract, plus at least a few special and unique items. Some people love the DVC member cruises and try to go on each one. Others go once and feel it’s not worth the extra money.
Disney Cruise Line has announced two Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member cruises for 2024:
- May 18: 7-night Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona on Disney Dream
- June 14: 5-night “triple dip” Bahamian cruise with two visits to Lookout Cay and one visit to Castaway Cay on Disney Magic
Adventure by Disney Pre- and Post-Cruise Escape Packages take place before and after select Disney Cruise Line sailings. These 2- to 3-night Escapes include 2 Adventure by Disney guides; hotel accommodations; multiple, daily excursions; special VIP privileges; all transportation during the trip and a photo CD with all the Adventure by Disney guide photos.
- If you are interested in booking an Adventures by Disney Pre- or Post-Cruise Escape Package , we recommend filling out a quote form with Small World Vacations . They give you full service, including a personal travel agent you can contact by email or direct phone number and we recommend them wholeheartedly ! I've booked hotels, tickets and car rentals through them. I've never had an issue. They have great rates on car rentals when you bundle. I didn't know they booked cruises, but I would not be afraid to book a cruise with them.
StarStruck393 said: Yeah that's what I though/what I've consistently heard, which is why I'm wondering how Undercover Tourist can offer a lower price than Disney/the travel agents and whether there's a catch, etc. Click to expand...

DCLMP said: Maybe instead of giving you an onboard credit they are paying 100 dollars of your cruise fare. I don't believe they can offer a lower rate, but they can certainly do that. With the money they get from DCL they probably still make a profit. Agencies like American airlines cruises or Expedia will pay your deposit(book a cruise and pay nothing now) and then charge you the full deposit plus cruise price at PIF date. They will penalize you 100 if you cancel, but they give you miles if you end up taking the cruise. All booking agencies offer incentives and run different promotions. Make sure you read the fine print. Click to expand...
StarStruck393 said: Never thought of it like that. From a high level it's kind of a distinction without a difference, though it may be just enough of a difference to matter. Though it is odd that they advertise it as a discount/you'd think if it was ok to charge you the DCL rate but then (for example) pay part of your deposit (giving you an effective discount), more TAs would do that... I've cancelled tickets and hotels from them and the refunds have been prompt. I would have no concerns booking through them from that standpoint.

We've booked probably 10+ cruises through Dreams Unlimited , but I just booked this last one myself directly through the DCL website. Finally decided giving up control of my reservation wasn't worth the small amount of OBC. We have used the same agent the entire time, and over the years, she has become less and less responsive to my emails. Just annoying and not worth the headache in this day and age.

Undercover Tourist is very safe and reliable. I don't believe they sold expired tickets. There is one reason to buy direct from Disney though. We bought tix through Disney for my parents who were visiting and lost them before we used them. I was able to go to the guest services booth outside the park, and they were reissued in a second.
