You will be picked up from your hotel and brought to the start point at our office in Santiago del Teide. You will be given a safety briefing and instructions on how to drive the quad. You will then start the magical trip to Teide while enjoying the beautiful views along the way. We will ascend to approx. 2000m above the sea level. We will then descent back to the start point where you will then be brought back to your hotel. This is an unforgettable experience that is not to be missed.

Mount Teide

Mount Teide is a active volcano located on the island of Tenerife, one of Spain’s Canary Islands. At 3,718 metres (12,198 ft), it is the highest mountain in Spain and the third tallest volcano in the world. Mount Teide is also the most visited national park in Spain. The volcano and its surroundings were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007.

Tips for the Trip

• Wear closed shoes like trainers.
• In the winter months wear warm clothes as it gets cold up on the mountain
• Make sure you bring your driver’s license.
• If you want to use your GoPro make sure you bring the correct attachments as you cannot hold them in your hands

in Tour the Teide National Park on four wheels and visit one of the highest villages in Spain on this quad tour, through Tenerife discovering its forests, countryside and volcanoes!  Fun and thrills, guaranteed!

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the south of Tenerife or you can also join the tour directly at Hermano Pedro street in San Miguel de Abona. Then we'll hop on the quads to start our exciting tour .

Ready for adventure? On this tour you'll travel a total of 90 kilometres  with a clear objective: to reach the Teide National Park . We'll combine dirt roads with paved terrain on an exciting route that reaches 2400 meters in altitude! Adrenaline, guaranteed!

We'll also see Arona, visit Vilaflor and we'll continue the quad tour to Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain. We'll climb 2400 meters!

And we'll stop at the  Boca Tauce viewpoint , which offers us a postcard image of the volcano and its solidified lava flows . Then we'll take you back to your hotel or to the meeting point.

Lastly, we'll drop you off back at your hotel or at the meeting point.

Quad Teide Policy

• Driving Eligibility: Only individuals with a valid car license are permitted to drive a quad bike in Tenerife.
• Weather Dependency: Quad biking is subject to favorable weather. In the event of cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions, participants can opt for an alternative date or receive a complete refund.
• Weight Limit: The weight limit for each quad is strictly 160kg. If participants collectively exceed this limit, they are required to book two separate quads. If this issue arises on-site, arrangements can be made with the quad company, where, in the worst-case scenario, one participant might have to join the guide in the jeep. No refunds will be granted in such cases.
• Conduct: Intoxicated customers or those displaying inappropriate behavior will be denied participation and are ineligible for a refund.

Cancellation Policy:

• For cancellations or rescheduling: Customers must notify us a minimum of 48 hours in advance by emailing [email protected] . For bookings of 4 quads or more, this window extends to 4 days prior to the activity date. Failure to cancel within the stipulated time frame or tardiness on the day of the tour will result in forfeiture of the refund.
• Comfort and Weather: Decisions made based on personal comfort, such as perceptions of the temperature being too hot or cold, are non-refundable provided the conditions are deemed safe for quad biking by the operator. Participants are encouraged to check the forecast and dress appropriately for the weather conditions to ensure a comfortable experience.
• Deposit and Payment Policy: Club Canary makes it easy for you to book with only a deposit and the rest on arrival. However, this does not mean the deposit covers damages if you don’t show up or cancel last minute. Therefore, if you cancel between 12 and 24 hours before the trip starts, you still need to pay 30% of the payment due on arrival (double amount for groups of 4 or more). For no shows, or cancellations less than 12 hours before, you need to pay 60% of the arrival amount since there is no time anymore to find a replacement. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

We will pick you up just outside your hotel or apartment 30 minutes before the start of the excursion at 9:30 am (morning excursion) or 1:30 pm (afternoon excursion). 

After 20 minutes of driving, you will get to the Quad garage where the excursion of Quad Biking in Tenerife Volcano Tour will start. 

During each tour, the drivers will have a chance to swap drivers, so don’t forget your license if you are planning to drive the quad.

Before the tour starts, your Guide will take 10 minutes to deliver a full safety briefing, explaining how to use the Quads and going through the important security measures in place to ensure your safety . Once you are ready you will start driving up to the National Park, stopping along the way to enjoy several vistas and take photos of the stunning scenery.

The first stop is the picturesque village of Villaflor, the highest village in Spain at 1500 meters above sea level. Depending on the weather, you will be able to spot the other Canary Islands of La Gomera, La Palma, El Hierro, and Gran Canaria.

As you drive along you will experience how the landscape changes from the grand pines of the forest to the arid and vast rocks of the volcano. You will be impressed by what nature has been capable of delivering on this road. You will take the bikes inside one of the first craters of the Volcano, which is 18km wide. Surrounded by the mountainous lunar landscape, it is a unique and surreal environment that will take you to the Mirador the Ucanca, at 2400 meters high. On the way home you will follow some off-road tracks back through the forest, where you can have even more fun.

It is important to know that most of the excursion takes place on a normal road, as the Teide National Park does not allow the passage of vehicles on the off-road paths protected by Unesco.
