You can see whole Tbilisi from above there. There are drop down ball, horror house, small carousels, small cars to drive, falling into the water with boats, shooting games.
• Drive to Lisi Lake. It is a popular recreational area in Tbilisi. Some will find a lazy walk around lake while others will enjoy a mountain biking here. Lisilake is perfect place for relaxation with different activities for your kids.

Day 3 : Tbilisi - Martvili Canyon - Batumi

Day 4 : Batumi City Tour and Argo cable car

• Batumi city tour, visiting some of the main sightseeing places:
• Europe Square is surrounded by beautiful belle époque buildings – renovated survivors from Batumi's original heyday plus new buildings in similar style. The square's musical fountains are a magnet for kids on hot summer evenings.
• The Medea monument - In Greek mythology, Medea was a daughter of King Aieti, the king of Kolkheti in present day western Georgia. Medea helped Jason to steal the legendary Golden Fleece.
• The Astronomical Clock also in Europe Square adorns the restored facade of the former National Bank building. A chime indicates the full hour, a single ring the half-hour. Apart from the time of day, the clock also shows astronomical information – the placement of the sun and the moon, the moon phase, the meridian and the horizon.
• Ali & Nino The 7m-high, ethereally moving, metal sculpture Woman and Man, by Tamar Kvesitadze. The two figures represent a Muslim boy, Ali, and a Georgian princess, Nino, from a famous 1937 novel by Azerbaijani author Kurban Said.
• Alphabet Tower is a 130-meter-high structure the tower symbolizes the uniqueness of the Georgian alphabet and people. The structure combines the design of DNA, in its familiar double helix pattern. Two helix bands rise up the tower holding 33 letters of the Georgian alphabet, each 4 meters tall and made of aluminum.
• Once we finish City Tour we will visit Argo cable car, which will takes to the top of the mountain with panoramic views on the city

Day 5 : Batumi - Mirveti waterfall - Makhuntseti waterfall - Dolphinarium

• 11:00 starting the tour and departure to Merisi via upper Adjara waterfalls
• Mirveti waterfall is located in few hundred meters through a forest, but almost like walking in a fairyland! The trees next to the path are all covered with thick, dark green moss.
• Makhuntseti Waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls in Georgia. It is located in Adjara, in the Makhuntseti village. This is one of the highest waterfalls in Adjara – a real pride of local residents.

Eight Georgia Bulldog golfers are competing in the 2024 U.S. Open, which will be held from June 13-16. The U.S. Open is the third major of the year and is being held at the famous Pinehurst No. 2 course in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Eight former Georgia golfers are among the U.S. Open’s 156-man field, which means that over five percent of the field in the U.S. Open played collegiate golf at the University of Georgia. Georgia has more golfers competing on the PGA Tour than any other college program.

Brian Harman’s victory of The Open Championship in 2023 marks the last time a former UGA player on the PGA Tour won a major. Chris Kirk, who won The Sentry in January, is the only former Georgia golfer to win on the PGA Tour this year.

ATLANTA (AP) — The king and queen of the Netherlands began a four-day tour of the U.S. on Monday in Atlanta, where they paid tribute to the late Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and learned about the history of the church where he served as pastor.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima were also scheduled to visit a music studio in the city that is a hub for hip hop artists.

The visit — and its focus on Black cultural sites — comes less than a year after the king apologized for his country’s role in slavery and asked for forgiveness during a historic and emotional speech in Amsterdam.

At the King Center, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter, Bernice King, greeted the king and queen and walked with them to a marble crypt containing the remains of her father and mother, Coretta Scott King, where the couple lay a wreath. Civil rights leader and former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young also attended the event.

Willem-Alexander called the visit “deeply moving” for the couple and said the “drive for emancipation among people of color” was a story of “pain and anger, but also one of pride, solidarity and the steadfast belief in peace and reconciliation.”

“In the Netherlands, too, the fight against discrimination and racism continues to command our full attention,” he said, reading from prepared remarks. “Martin Luther King inspires us never to give up. His voice continues to resonate even across the Atlantic.”

The couple later met with Black students at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where they learned about the church’s role in the Civil Rights Movement and the fight for racial justice. On Tuesday, they are scheduled to visit Savannah State University, the oldest public historically Black college or university in Georgia.

The trip also has an economic motive. In 2023, total trade between Georgia and the Netherlands was $2.9 billion, according to the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

The king and queen met earlier Monday with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp at the state Capitol, where they and a delegation of Dutch business leaders planned to discuss economic cooperation.

They were scheduled to be on hand later for the opening of a new cold storage facility by Dutch company NewCold.

On Tuesday, they plan to visit the Port of Savannah. The trip concludes with a visit to New York on Wednesday and Thursday.

‘It’s all about love’: Tabernacle Choir to sing with Morehouse and Spelman College glee clubs again

The tabernacle choir will also perform a bilingual concert with adassa and alex melecio.

The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square will join voices with Morehouse and Spelman colleges as well as Adassa and Alex Melecio come autumn.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said in a press release on Wednesday that the choir will travel to Florida and Georgia for two public concerts and one private performance. It’s part of the choir’s “Hope” tour to inspire unity and harmony across different cultures.

Here’s a closer look at when the performances are and how to get tickets.

Tickets to the public performances are free but need to be reserved on the choir’s tour website .

The arena performances will be livestreamed so people living in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, southern Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina can gather in homes, church meetinghouses and community centers to watch the performances together.

Tabernacle Choir performances in September

Starting on Sept. 7, the choir will perform with Grammy-winning artist Adassa and Alex Melecio at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. She’s sung with the Tabernacle Choir before.

Adassa is known for voicing the character Dolores in “Encanto” — and in particular, for her work on the song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”

Melecio, who has also sung with the choir previously, signed a record label with Rumor Records a couple years after being a finalist on “Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento” — billed on IMDb as “a reality competition show searching for the best Latino talent in the United States.”

“The bilingual concert will feature music and dialogue in Spanish and English that reflects the rich Latin traditions in Florida and the southeastern United States,” the release said.

After the Sept. 7 conference, the choir will perform with the Morehouse College Glee Club and Spelman College Club on Sept. 9 at the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel, which is located on the Morehouse campus in Georgia. This will be a private performance.

But the Morehouse and Spelman College glee clubs will join the choir again on Sept. 11 for a concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this collaboration,” said Kevin Johnson, director of the Spelman College Glee Club, in the release. “The world needs music, and we will deliver it in a powerful way together. I have good friends in Utah because of this ongoing collaboration. It’s all about love.”

“The music we sing and the experiences we share continue to be beautiful highlights we will remember through the years,” said David Morrow, director of the Morehouse College Glee Club. “We look forward to sharing the majesty of our music and message with our friends in Atlanta.”

Tabernacle Choir President Michael O. Leavitt said, “The choir will join their voices once again with those from Morehouse College and Spelman College glee clubs. When these famed groups perform together, the music is magnificent, and the message is of peace, harmony and shared values.”

The performances are expected to include a range of genres and styles.

Under the direction of Mack Wilberg and Ryan Murphy, the musical repertoire will include classical masterpieces as well as contemporary music, the release said.

“The diverse selection of music serves as a testament to the choir’s commitment to inclusivity and the universal language of music,” said the release.

Morehouse and Spelman have a prior relationship with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. The college’s glee clubs joined the choir for a Sunday broadcast of “Music and the Spoken Word” on Oct. 22, 2023.

Morehouse, a historically Black college, bestowed the honor of the Gandhi-King-Mandela Peace Prize upon President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April 2023.

“President Nelson began building bridges with the NAACP in 2018 with a joint call for greater civility and racial harmony in society,” said a press release from Church Newsroom. “The participation of the glee clubs from Morehouse College and Spelman College in The Tabernacle Choir’s weekly broadcast is the next step in this valued relationship.”
