In March 2024 I had booked a travel to Turkey staying in a hotel booked via lol travel. On the day of departure I collapsed at home and was unable to travel. Lol travel speedily refunded my booking per the terms and conditions and then some. Last month I booked a hotel in Prague with lol whilst waiting for my flight at Luton airport. Their price was considerably cheaper than other operators and the check in process was seamless. Well done and thanks, lol

Reserve y pagué 2300€ dos vuelos con mi hijo los cuales no me dejaron salir porque tenía 2 escalas europeas y necesitaba visa cosa que al momento de comprar no te informan no hay nada que diga NO PUEDE VIAJAR POR TAL MOTIVO, de echo no entiendo cómo puede venderse algo que no se puede usar, mi destino no requeria visa por tanto si preaentan opciones de escalas no debería presentarse de la manera que no se pueda o permitan usarlas ya que Uds saben de los problemas ya que seguramente no sere la unica persona ESTAFADA buen plan para LOLTRAVEL pero los denunciaré perdí hotel seguro transporte documentos. Un total de 2700€ y reclamas y solo te hablan en italiano NO COMPREN EN LOLTRAVEL. I booked and paid €2,300 for two flights with my son, which they did not let me leave because I had 2 European stopovers and I needed a visa, which at the time of purchase they do not inform you, there is nothing that says YOU CAN'T TRAVEL FOR SUCH REASON, in fact I don't understand how You can sell something that cannot be used, my destination did not require a visa, therefore, if they present stopover options, it should not be presented in a way that cannot or does not allow them to be used since you know the problems since I will surely not be the only person SCAMMED. good plan for LOLTRAVEL but I will report them I lost hotel insurance transportation documents. My flight journey was good but my luggage experience was bad. The locks were broken, the zip was broken and since it was a hard case bag the sides were all punched in. Once I reach home I will know what’s been missing.

Dear lol travel, A friend of mine booked me a ticket 3 days ago via lol travel, the reservation status is confirmed. Today was issued a voucher not a ticket, with a ticket number though. I went to the austrian airlines website to find my reservation giving them the ticket number from the voucher you sent me. And the are saying there is no reservation found The cost of return ticket is 1500€! Can I get a valid ticket please asap I am supposed to fly in 2 days! Thank you PS. Dear Linda, it is possible to do check in online 24 hrs before departure, directly on the airline's website with the airline reference booking number. Easy Booking and customer care. I booked a flight for my husband. It was easy. A month later, when He was near to fly we couldn’t find the mail with the ticket. I called the customer service and they send us a copy in few minutes.

Extra costs and no promised checked-in luggage

The flights were quite much cheaper than in other places, which made me use this site even though it looked somewhat suspicious. To my surprise, the reservation did not include checked-in luggage even though they promised it would, and the price bumped up 30€ when finalizing the reservation. I hope the actual flights will go ok...

Useless company

Useless company. All amendments have to be made to be made manually via email, this is the 21st century how is it not possible to make the change online? So okay you have to handle the change by email but now they can't take the payment from the same card you paid with. They send a link which expires after 1 hour, which they send in the response to you email that they send when they get round to it, some people have jobs but now dealing with LOL Travel to arrange a simple change of date on the flexible ticket you paid for is now your second job. After you miss the link you call their "24 hour helpline" and just get cut off because there are no agents available seemingly ever. You have now called and emailed but they still spend a whole day without responding and the price has now increased by a third. On top of the €55 admin fee they (not the airline) are charging for wasting your time with this back and forth. Save your money, save your time, and save your sanity; don't book with a LOL Travel! LOL ;(

Dear customer, for privacy and security reasons all changes are handled by our operative via e-mail exchange with the practice holder. It is not possible to do this independently online because there is a specialised operator who makes the change and returns the quotations to the customer. The link is the alternative method when on the first method you mentioned the payment fails. Handling fees are required as stated in our terms and conditions. Horrible service, dissapointing experience

I can not be more dissapointed.. I have mispelled the name of a passenger when purchasing tickets for a client from the US. I have contacted the company via e-mail, and requested a change. They let me know it is possible with a 'little' fee of 270€ that, and I quote "The total cost will be €276.00 The amounts will all be charged to the credit card entered at the time of booking" I say let's proceed, and I keep on working on different things, forgetting this issue, as in my mind, LOL.TRAVEL will charge me extra and solve the issue. WRONG Appearantly, they send me an additional email, this time claiming the payment need to be paid by a different card than the original payment method. WHAT? "We have sent you a secure link to pay €276.00 with a different card, the link expires in 1 hours." At this point, it feels like a scam, but can it really be a scam? I gave a benefit of the doubt and wrote to the custumer support again asking for the name change However this time, they let me know there will also be a penalty fee if I proceed with the name change and I did not agree with accepting the penalty, as the whole fee + penalty + lack of information and responsibility from the lol.travel just seemed disingenuine and unfair. To this they told me: Dear client, we are sorry, but since there are flights in code-share with different airilnes (United and Lufthansa), the name correction is not allowed. Support did not get back to me afterwards. I am not only dissapointed, I honestly feel scammed. Lol.travel is unworthy, i wouldn't waste my time and money like this if I knew. I should have checked people's experiences before choosing this company, as there are countless situations just like mine below.

BAD EXPECTATIONS I have just made a reservation for 3 nights in September and all I have seen in the comments written by former guests is complaints about the poor service in the reception; the terrible condition of rooms, common areas and bathrooms. There's also negative comments about problems with overbooking, cockroaches in the rooms and things like that. I tried to find a website or an e-mail addresss to get in touch with them but to no avail. I am really worried about my first visit to New York regarding lodging in this place. I can write to you after my stay there and I hope things are not that bad when I confront the reality of a single in 2-bed dormitory room with private bathroom at Central Park West Hostel.

I would not recommend this company. They can cancel your flights in just one click! We had terrible experience with this company,they change the price at the end of the booking procedure after they approved the ticket price before and customer service is also “bad one”….

I bought the ticket by mistake and I realised immediately.. by low I could cancel without any penalty if I cancel within given time .. other companies do it without any charges.. but iol travel charge me 50euro saying that it was for the service. Very dishonest and greedy. Never use them again.
