Liverpool fc stadium tour and museum now open.

Liverpool FC’s stadium tour and museum are now open and ready to welcome visitors for the first time since March.

Following the Government’s announcement that visitor attractions are able to reopen, the stadium tour and museum team have been working hard to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for guests in line with social distancing and industry guidelines.

To ensure visitor safety, extensive health and safety measures have been implemented making the tour a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Capacity will be limited to allow visitors to maintain social distancing - all tours must be booked advance. Hand sanitising stations on entry have also been installed and enhanced cleaning regimes applied.

Social distancing guidelines will also be implemented via a newly designed one-way system with two-metre markers in place. The tour’s multimedia handsets will be sanitised thoroughly between each use and all visitors will receive their own individual LFC branded earbuds at no charge.

Guests are advised that all till points and payments will be contactless or payment via debit/credit card, and visitors will be required to print their tickets in advance or display them on a mobile device.

Fans are advised that the Premier League trophy will not be on display at Anfield at this time - further information on this will be provided in due course. The Boot Room Sports Café will remain closed; however, Anfield’s superstore will be open the public.

Tom Cassidy, senior manager, tourism at Liverpool FC said: “We understand that things might feel a little different next time our supporters visit, however we look forward to welcoming fans and visitors back to the LFC stadium tour and museum.”

As part of the reopening, LFC stadium tour and museum has launched a brand-new tour - The Anfield Origins - which takes in the external surroundings of the stadium learning about the history of our great club as you are taken from the late 19th century to present day. Visitors will finish the tour on the illustrious Kop and take in the famous Anfield pitch.

Tickets to this tour also include entry to the club’s interactive museum, The Liverpool FC Story , The Steven Gerrard Collection exhibition and all six European cups.

Enjoyed a wonderful day at Anfield with my Dad and son (bought as a Xmas gift). Our welcome was a warm one - greeted by various smiling faces from the off and a free hot drink before our tour commenced with our guides Lenny and Alan, who were both informative, attentive and witty. Ex-pros Jimmy Case and Alan Kennedy popped by for a photo op before an extremely tasty and immaculately presented lunch was served. The entertaining Case and Kennedy then signed a long queue of memorabilia before engaging the audience with their stories and guidance for the younger listeners. Both legends were extremely down-to-Earth and saw of the audience like they were family. We visited the museum before leaving and the staff here were equally warm and we were looked after during a photo-op with replica of No.5. The museum tour can be taken with a audio device giving a wealth of info or just enjoyed as read. The only negative was the tour was understandably restricted by the ongoing work to the Main stand- meaning no photo op in the changing room / dug out or tunnel but this was a minor in an otherwise wonderful day. Thanks to all at Anfield.
I truly recommend to everyone this package you will not be disappointed. Bought the tour as a gift for my boyfriend who is a massive LFC fan. What a day it was to remember. Arrived at 8.30am to be shown to the VIP boxes for breakfast, followed by a tour of the stadium. The tour guides Mick and Kate were fantastic, very informative and game for a laugh. Then we had a lovely 3 course meal and a drink followed by a Q&A with Ian Callaghan MBE. Considering I didn't know anything about him after he finished I felt like I had know him for ages. A genuine down to earth gentleman. we then took ourselves around the museum and the boot room and shop and all the while my boyfriend could not stop smiling. We left Anfield at 4pm a perfect full on day!. Nothing was a problem for the staff they were very helpful and made this whole experience. We even had an added bonus of seeing the 1st team squad get off their coach for a training session at the ground before the trip to Wembley. But this was only by chance as we only popped out for a little bit of air! This I feel topped off the experience. Im not an LFC fan myself but now they definitely have a space in my heart and as for my boyfriend I think I have won the best girlfriend trophy, I don't know how I am going to top it next year!
Thoroughly enjoyable tour. Took our grandson for his 10th birthday. Living in Exeter he never thought he would see the stadium. He so enjoyed it even sitting on the bench beneath Steven Gerrards peg and shirt. Thanks to all at LFC and well done.
what a great day, from the guy on the gate when we parked, and all of the people showed us around and served us a first class 3 course meal, we could not have been treated any better, phil Neal and dave Johnson , where very welcoming and easy to talk to, also very entertaining with some great memories, this is a must for die hard red fans, you will not be disappointed one to remember
Bought the tour as a gift for my husband. What a perfect day it was. Many thanks to the hard working staff who made this a day to remember.

After the match, the pick-up point for the return journey to Sandhills station leaves from Walton Lane. The service runs for 2 hours before kick-off and for 50 minutes after the final whistle. If you would prefer to walk to Anfield from Sandhills station, it will take around 25 minutes.

Bus routes 26, 17, 27, 19, 19A, 68 and 168 all serve Anfield and the city centre.

Anfield has been home to Liverpool Football Club ever since the club's formation in 1892. However, the Reds were not the first club to play at the ground. Everton played at Anfield before ending their tenancy after an eight-year stay.

Redesigned in 1928 to house 30,000 standing supporters the Kop soon developed a reputation for being one of the most cacophonous football stands in the country. Redevelopment of the Main Stand, adding 8,000 seats to the capacity, was completed at the beginning of the 2016/17 campaign.

Located about two miles north of the city centre and nestling among the red-brick buildings of the Anfield area, "the home of football" has retained its dual status as both traditional community hub and iconic ground of global renown.

You can still buy standing tickets for Taylor Swift's August UK Eras Tour dates

But you'll need to be quick

  • 16:50, 4 JUL 2024

Resale tickets are still available for Taylor Swift

Fans of Taylor Swift have had quite the summer, the pop superstar finally arrived on UK shores last month, performing her record-breaking Eras Tour to adoring fans in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff and London.

Luckily for Swifties who didn't manage to bag seats to the epic stadium tour, the London Boy singer isn't quite finished with us yet. In fact, Taylor is set to play five consecutive shows at Wembley Stadium before concluding the UK leg of the tour next month, as the Mirror reports.

Tickets to her final shows sold out almost immediately when they went on sale last year, as did all of her other shows. All hope isn't lost, though, as there are still ways to get tickets, namely from online ticket reseller websites, including Viagogo and Vivid Seats.

By purchasing from these retailers, fans have been able to buy their perfect tickets - standing or seated - for their gig of choice. However, the trade-off is that the prices may be different to the original face value of the Taylor Swift tickets.

But, considering this is one of the only ways to get access to the gigs right now, it may be your best bet. We have the full breakdown of ticket sellers below.

  • VIAGOGO - Buy Taylor Swift resale tickets right here
  • VIVIDSEATS - Buy Taylor Swift resale tickets right here
  • STUBHUB - Buy Taylor Swift resale tickets right here

Where to buy Taylor Swift resale tickets

Taylor Swift resale tickets are available from a number of online retailers right now. Although the below sellers, including Viagogo and Vivid Seats, are not "official" retailers, they do have a number of strict terms and conditions in place to keep ticket buyers and ticket sellers safe.

Eras Tour hopefuls can choose exactly where they want to sit or stand in their stadium of choice - but there is a catch. Ticket prices are set by the sellers themselves, so fans may see some Taylor Swift Tickets priced much higher than they might expect.

Here's the full breakdown below:

These websites specialise in selling tickets that fans no longer want, but viagogo recently assured fans: "viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee."

There are also resale tickets available directly from Ticketmaster. Here's the link you need:

  • TICKETMASTER - Buy Taylor Swift resale tickets here.

What Taylor Swift dates are left?

Taylor Swift has already played 10 out of her 15 UK tour dates. The Look What You Made Me Do singer played some huge stadiums in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff and London.

Lucky, Taylor is set to play five consecutive shows at Wembley Stadium next month before concluding the full UK leg of the Eras Tour. These dates will be supported by Paramore.

Here's a full list of Taylor Swift's remaining UK tour dates:

Monday, 19 August 2024 - London, Wembley Stadium

Tuesday, 20 August 2024 - London, Wembley Stadium

Should you buy Taylor Swift resale tickets?

Taylor Swift fans may be looking for tickets to the star's UK 2024 Eras Tour shows by any means necessary. However, they may find fear in looking at products being sold by the aforementioned reseller sites, such as Viagogo.

Viagogo's ticket guarantee reads: "When You purchase tickets on Viagogo, Viagogo guarantees that you will receive the tickets you paid for in time for the event. In the rare instance that a problem arises and the original ticket seller does not provide you with the tickets listed for sale, Viagogo will, in its discretion, review comparably priced tickets and offer you replacement tickets at no additional cost, or Viagogo will issue you a refund for the cost of the tickets."

"Comparably priced" replacement tickets are determined by Viagogo in its discretion. When you sell tickets on Viagogo, provided you provide the exact tickets listed for sale and the ticket buyer successfully gains entry to the event, Viagogo guarantees that you will be paid for your sale.""

They also recently told Express.co.uk: "The European leg of Taylor Swift's Eras tour has been long anticipated. We've not seen anything like this since The Beatles and with tickets having only just gone on sale, demand is at its peak right now. Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee."
