Balcony cabins, however, feature a private balcony with seating, allowing passengers to enjoy fresh air and scenic views directly from their cabin. 

Q: Is a passport needed on local cruises? For cruises within South African borders, such as our 'cruise to nowhere' and coastal voyages between Cape Town and Durban, no passport is needed. A valid ID (green book or ID card) is sufficient. 

Q: If cruising to Mozambique/Namibia and not planning on getting off the ship, why is a passport needed? Passports are required as you'll be crossing international waters, leaving South African borders.
