• A mobile safari is led by a professional guide who is accompanied by a small convoy of camp staff and equipment necessary for a self-contained journey through the wilderness. The flexibility of a mobile safari allows travellers access to remote wilderness areas within Botswana's national parks and reserves, far beyond the reaches of a morning game drive out of a lodge. A typical mobile safari itinerary may vary between 6 and 10 nights in length, visiting various different areas within the National Parks and Reserves, spending 2 to 3 nights at any one location. Long driving distances between camps are typical on a mobile safari, varying between 2 and 6 hours however, it should be noted that these are commonly within the National Parks and Reserves, and are incorporated into daily game drives with a picnic lunch en route. This type of travel allows you to fully appreciate the subtle changes in the environment as you move from one area to the next by land, and learn about the forces which drove these changes and shaped the contrasting landscape around you. The thrill is not only in the destination, but the journey itself.

The company is based in Maun with its office at Matshwane ward in Maun. The company has been in operation since 2008 and has employed at total of five (10) people. Its main Objective is to specialize in tailor made mobile safaris in game reserves, and to conduct Mokoro/boat trips in Okavango Delta, road Transfers, Wildlife Photographic, camping safaris, game scenic flights, game drives in the areas of Okavango i.e. Moremi Game reserve, Chobe National Park/Savuti, Central Kalahari, Makgadikgadi Pans, Tsodilo Hills bushman paintings and Kubu Island. A comfortable non-participation camping with wild camping with ensuite facilities ( 5 Nights ) and lodging ( 2 nights ). Mosu Safari Tours will provide a bucket shower with warm water off the fire. Mosu Safari Tours (also) provides mats, chairs with backrests, safari beds,  pillows pillow cases, sheets, mess tents,  MeruTents, mosquito gauze on door & windows). Mosu Safari Tours camp assistant erects tents and do bedding. Mosu safari tours chef prepares meals in the camp. NB: All our tours are non -  participatory meaning that we have enough staff to do all the camp chores while you sit and enjoy your holiday . DAY 1: Maun

Lodge-Accommodation[breakfastx1]

Arrive in Maun Airport where Mosu safari tours guides will meet you at the terminal. Please look out for the board that says, “Mosu safaris Tours” Our guides will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge, on arrival your guide will give you a full safari briefing and take you shopping for your safari drinks.

You will be staying in a lodge for 1 night on bed & breakfast basis. Lunch & dinner at (own expense). Maun has grown rapidly from its early days as a small, rural frontier good shopping centers town and has now spread along the wide , Thamalakane River . It now boasts , hotels and lodges as well as car and 4-wheel drive vehicle hire. However, it retains a rural atmosphere and, as befitting its role as the hub of the Delta's safari industry travelers pass through here on their way to the Okavango Delta. It is the southernmost part of the Delta and boasts a river tributary of the Okavango called the Thamalakane River. It is our home and this frontier “village” certainly puts things into perspective before travelling to the wilderness.

After checking into the lodge that afternoon, you may take a scenic flight over the Okavango delta, Enjoy a scenic flight from Maun Airport over the Okavango Delta. (Own expense) Keep a look out for Hippos in the waterways and Elephant and Buffalo in the shade of the trees. Observe how the water channels meander their way through the Delta in ever changing paths as this Dynamic water system evolves. The vastness of this pristine wilderness is breathtaking.

DAY 2-4: MOREMI KHWAI (Concession)

Camping [Lunch x 3, Breakfast x 3, Dinner x 3]

Wake up freshen up have breakfast before we depart to Moremi Game Reserve, situated in the eastern part of the Okavango Delta, bordering the Chobe National Park on the south-western part of the Park. The Moremi Game Reserve covers almost one third of the Delta. The Okavango Delta is the largest inland river delta in the world and consists of pans, floodplains, lily covered lagoons, grasslands, forests of acacia trees, savannahs and dense Mopane Woodlands. With such a wide variety of vegetation comes diverse spectrum of wild life. Huge herds of impala and tsessebe are found in the area, while in the dry season large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, elephant and zebra flock into the reserve from the Kalahari in search of food and water. The rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope live in the papyrus banks of the waterways. Lions, cheetahs and packs of wild dogs hunt in the open grassland. The reserve is home to over 400 species of birds, including the African Fish Eagle, the Crested Crane and the Sacred Ibis.

Moremi Game Reserve is a wilderness paradise with great game viewing throughout the year. We will camp wild for 1 night at an exclusive campsite (concession) at Khwai north Moremi Game Reserve, enjoying activities on day to day basis. The magnificent Khwai river is the hub for some of the most outstanding wildlife viewing both on the Moremi and in the Khwai community area.

Day 5-6 SAVUTI

Camping [Lunch x 2, Breakfast x 2, Dinner x 2]

We depart to Savuti, which is part of Chobe national park. It is called Savuti because a certain chief called Sauté used to live there with his tribe. On the way we will see migration of zebras and wildebeest which will be coming back from the Makgadikgadi salt pans after the rains. Tawny eagles can be seen soaring in the sky as we go. The drive is a bit longer from Moremi to Savuti; however, the drive is much enjoyable, as you will see lots of birds and animals on the way. The scenery is amazing and very African looking, with lots of umbrella thorn, acacia tortilis (Mosu in Setswana which means the name of our company) with giraffe feeding and many more including the most photographed bird, lilac breasted roller (in the picture) a national bird of Botswana. You will not resist from taking a picture of it, it is the most beautiful bird in Africa. We arrive late afternoon as you will have your lunch on the way;  we wild camp for 2 nights enjoying activities on daily basis.

An early morning tea/coffee, rusks then depart for a game drive along the Savuti channel, which is flowing after 30 years. The area looks very beautiful there are beautiful tall trees along the river animals like to hang around for shade. We also drive to Savuti marsh where we have an opportunity to track cheetah a vast open grassland area, their mostly preferred habitat. Get back for brunch after a beautiful drive, have shower, launder your clothes during your siesta time or read a book. In the afternoon we depart for a game drive. Get back to the camp after a lovely game drive dinner at 20.00pm. The last guest determines time of going to bed.

Day 7: CHOBE

Lodging [Breakfast x 1]

Wake up early to take a trip to Kasane we will be staying in lodge on bed & breakfast basis for 1 night, lunch & dinner at own expense. The town of Kasane is situated on the banks of the Chobe River in the far north east of Botswana. It is the gateway to the Chobe National Park and to 3 other countries, being located right at the "Four Corners. We arrive in at the lodge around lunch.

After siesta time, 15.00pm we depart for a beautiful sunset boat cruise along the Chobe river where you will see a lot of animals you will also come very close to crocodiles and pods of hippos from the boat at times we see lions from the boat you will also see big herds of buffalos, we get back to the lodge after sunset dinner is at 20.00pm at a local restaurant. Time of going to bed is determined guest.

Day 8-Tour ends

Wake up and depart for a morning game drive, return back to the lodge after a beautiful game drive freshen up then you will be transferred to Kasane airport for your flight to Joburg.
